Really good win that, especially after going behind. Brentford are so strong at home and Arsenal dealt with them relatively comfortably. Nwaneri, Partey, Jesus and the two CBs excellent. Another big test to come at Brighton, another game Arsenal have to win. Timber ban is a blow.

Those are the kind of gritty performances we need the rest of the campaign when necessary! This squad is showing their character! 2025 the year of the Arsenal!

Where the heck is Tomiyasu!!! Did he get hit by a train?

Crazy to think timber picked up a yellow card for taking to long to take a throw in and he is now going to miss the Brighton game. Need to stop time wasting with throw in and corners such a pointless and needless thing to do

Three points into the bag

Partey at right back. Do we start calafori at left back, that’s the question? He looked a million miles off it vs mbemo, adingra will have a field day if he plays like that vs Brighton!

Arsenal may feel uneasy without Timber defending against Mitoma on the wing. Partey’s RB cameos this season were great, but Arteta should play him in his usual position. MLS deserves a chance to play RB, especially with Zinchenko back in the squad.

As much as it’s unfortunate, saka’s injury is a blessing in disguise. We develop other attacking modes. More direct?

I’m beginning to get worried about Mikel Merino. I want to get behind our players, but Merino makes it so hard to defend him.

Especially when 2 bookings were for taking too long at throw ins

Timber is not banned.. all cards get zeroed at half (19th game of the season)the league season. So he is eligible to play our next match.
