One of the takeaways I have from this video is that it’s another reminder of how much can be out of our hands with putting. Green imperfections and the time of day you play have a lot of influence on how many putts you will make. One of the reasons why make rates are not as high as golfers would assume!

Hang on a sec. Ball 2 and 3 miss the spike marks entirely. I think what you're seeing is the effect of a footprint depression, not spike marks - which has recovered by the time the third run is made
