Really think someone should make a documentary about that night in Dalymount for the 40th anniversary next year, while people involved are still alive to tell the story, an extraordinary night that could have ended in disaster.

Wow @Paulmcgrath5 made his debut that night. Mad pic of the fans on the roof.

@MickKielty I was there that night. Went in at the turnstiles at shopping centre end. It was bedlam. No idea how I managed to get to a turnstile and get in. Shortly after that they opened the gate.

I'd say you could make a documentary about the Italian's seeing the away dressingroom, never mind everything else that went on. 😁

I was there. I’ve no idea how the night passed off without fatalities.

Remember it well ,the gates were opened and I moved about 300 metres in about 10 Seconds my feet never touched the ground . Always remember the darkness and then seeing The dalymount lights and fresh air .i didn’t see the lads I was until I got back to the train station

I was there. Shed end. Was packed but never really scary tbh. Guessing the big problem areas were elsewhere.
