HD videos generate instantly, with time-to-first-frame under 100ms. Unlocking an entirely new creative paradigm and bolstering the foundations of our General World Model, GWM-1. Real-time generation opens a fundamentally different design space for video models and world simulation. First look at Starfield Free Lanes - Cruise mode that allows you to travel in the space between planets now for the first time without having to go through a loading screen. Previously, you would be in front of a planet but not be able to travel much further to explore other planets in space. Now you can free roam space and travel to whatever planet you want to. Its worth noting that you cannot land on a planet seamlessly as you still have to open your map and select where to land.

This is absolutely insane. I just built a fully seamless "No Man's Sky". With AAA-Graphics with 1 prompt. Using Opus 5.5 & Three.js on Tesana - Make AI games The game has over 80 planets to seamlessly explore. Every planet has it's unique biome, minerals, aliens and weather system. You can leave the space ship and explore every planet freely. The flying and handling of the space craft feels just perfect. The video speeds up a bit to save you the time it takes to traverse the galaxy.

Robot policies must be both reliable and highly capable to be useful; the best way to achieve this level of performance is with reinforcement learning. However, for reinforcement learning you are usually stuck between two difficult options: reinforcement in the real world is often risky and expensive, while reinforcement learning in a traditional simulator takes a lot of engineering work and has a persistent sim-to-real gap. What if instead you could train your robot purely in a world model? RISE by Jiazhi Yang et al. uses a compositional world model to predict the future and evaluate progress. This allows for a self-improving pipeline, which learns a world model from real data and then learns how the robot should perform different tasks. This pipeline results in a data-driven way to improve policy performance from real data but without real-world reinforcement learning. We had General Intuition CEO Pim de Witte on MTS to explain what world models are, and why intuitively world models offer a clearer path towards general intelligence than LLMs. For humans, text is a technology for compressing information about the unfolding, three-dimensional world around us and communicating it to other people. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine proved that you could tell a story with real substance while keeping the setting mostly stationary. Instead of a ship exploring a new world each week, the fixed location allowed for deeper political arcs, long-term character development, and layered storytelling that built over time.
