rear-mounted driving shots >>>

I think you forgot one.

Kane Parsons directed that when he was 1 year old

I'm real fond of door-mounted driving shots

PTA loves those too

The best one is Mann putting it in a go-fast boat in MV.

Yes! Harmonie did the same thing in Spring Breakers

Rear back shots >>>

I actually think it’s the best thing Tarantino does

Dude does film the fuck outta vehicles

forgot about about that sick ass shot of the batmobile in the batman

They went crazy with camera mounts for that scene

backshots >>>

same behind a subject walking

Surprised the ones from Game Night weren't included

I looked into those. Apparently it’s called an R-1 arm and they remove the arm in post to give that video game effect. Super cool

So that's how they did it! Very cool, thanks!

No problem! This is from the directors’ Reddit AMA if you’re interested

Backshots

so cool!!

My favourite shot in cinema

Phantom thread 🫵

Beautiful

Feeling smug thinking “ah-ha!! They won’t have thought of the one from oceans eleven”… fair play

The first one looks like phantom thread, the third is to the wonder, the 4th looks like once upon a time in Hollywood, 5th is kill bill part 2. 7th is sideways. 9th looks like due date. What are the others?

PHANTOM THREAD THE BEACH BUM TO THE WONDER OUATIH KILL BILL VOL 2 THE SANDMAN SIDEWAYS THE GRADUATE HANGOVER 3 OUATIH OCEANS 11

I LOVE WHEN A CAMERA IS ON A MOVING OBJECT!!!

Beautiful!

only good in convertibles

What’s the third one?

To the Wonder

@LukePlissken It’s the part when they’re going to the wonder

@jacobtswinney I was wondering

I’m a big fan of the wheel POV ones

Made a vid with a bunch of different ones

do it with a prius

from which movie is the first shot?

Phantom Thread!

thanks!

Clockwork orange ???

I think that one is on the front of the car, but I might be wrong!

Reminded me of NFS Porsche

Very cool stylistic choice 🎥📽️

are those from real footages? beautiful.

Yup! All movies and TV shows

Sounds dangerous.

the best.
