Nope, the government will allow this 10(17) exemption like standard deduction in the new regime and close the old one. They won't let a revenue stream loose money.

Same with section 80GGC & 80GGB exemption Donations to political party by corporates & individual is fully exempt. This is used by black money makers. Biggest loophole in the tax system.@FinMinIndia @nsitharaman @narendramodi should shut it to claim that black money is eradicated

Akhil Sir, I have received Rs.15 Lac as gift from father through bank transfer and made FDR fir the same. Bank reported FDR to income tax. Should I show gift received in my ITR, if yes in which column. Please reply in which notice के कम से कम chance ho.

No Labour MP was voted in to remove the winter fuel allowance for millions of pensioners. It wasn’t in their manifesto.
