Why cant the owners adopt this method to rebuild Chelsea's stadium and look for an alternative playing ground for the main time while developing the new stadium. The owners should step up this desire of giving Chelsea a better stadium.

Since the Abramovich era, there have been attempts to redevelop the stadium, but local residents have resisted. Stamford Bridge is located in an upscale area with many wealthy residents, and that may be why the stadium has not been renovated.

@ijemhen40366 Not necessarily. RA got the planning permission, all sorted. Never allowed to get on with it as he was kicked out of GB. New owners are half hearted about and really not interested. Simple.

@ijemhen40366 Does that mean it's still in the negotiation stage?

@george41958007 @ijemhen40366 No it means Roman Abramovich's planning permission (from LA & Mayor of London) ran out in 2023 & our current 'owners' havent come up with new designs to consult Chelsea fans & local residents about in four years they've been in charge. Design, consultation & pp takes about 3 yrs.

@george41958007 @ijemhen40366 Aren't there already rumors about the design circulating?

@george41958007 @ijemhen40366 People talk abt plans for 63,000 seater stadium existing but afaik not produced by our 'owners'. Only when some are can consultations with local people, councils & fans begin. Then may take 3-5 yrs negotiations before any demolition/building begins. Need finance & temp home too.

@george41958007 @ijemhen40366 It seems Chelsea, and especially its owners, need to improve the team immediately, unlike the past four years when they bought raw players to maximize revenue and recoup their ยฃ2 billion investment. After that, they can focus more on stadium issues.

@ChelseaFC please give us a new Home ๐ช๐ญ๐ญ

@ChelseaFC Yes bro, our stadiums in England are small ๐ซต๐ป๐ญ

What is stopping Chelsea from doing this

Local people

Are we not going to start next year as we have bought some property near the stadium and mark Meehan stated that our project is to be 63,000 seats and we not be moving

@HashimMaji84191 It seems the plans for next season will remain the same, the target is to add around 20 thousand seats to bring the total number of seats to 60 thousand.

I mean the 27/28 season whatโs your view

@HashimMaji84191 will not happen

It's AI nonsense, and it's not happening. Certainly not kike this.

Yh sure Just destroy the nearby buildings whilst at it Great job

This will hands down be the finest stadium in the country ๐ฏ

That's right, Chelsea could be more luxurious and could compete with other big stadiums.

Chyba was pojebaลo

I dont understand bro

This good never happen, loads of housing that wonโt sell up would flattening and it would be too high and obstruct the protected sight line of St Paulโs Cathedral from Richmond Park ๐

It looks too robotic

How can you rebuild something thatโs not for you

Beautiful dream ๐

Another soulless shit hole

This is incredible.

You know, there will come a time when football clubs will build vintage stadiums like those from the early 20th century. Modern stadium design is losing the spirit of British football. Thereโs no sense of identity.

Stamford Bridge ๐

@mtj_92 ูู ุตุฏู ุงูููุงู

LOL. Those neighbours refused to sell off several time

this year ??

The Stamford Bridge redevelopment (demolition and construction of a new stadium) is expected to take three to four years to complete. However, according to club officials, the entire process from planning to completion could take up to 15 to 20 years due to logistical and financial complexities.

@Wf_Jahbless So Spurs spent 15-20 years to deliver one of the best stadium in England ? Lmao even building the whole city will not take that much time.

@Chelsdays_ @Wf_Jahbless You've never visited London have you? 600+ sq miles would take longer than 20 years to rebuild. Fyi Tottenham 'only' took 12 years from plans til stadium opened. 19 if you count first discussions - which is about where Chelsea are now. Easier to get planning in N17 than SW6 too.

@Oluwaswain @Wf_Jahbless I've never been to London, but I've read a lot about it, you're right, from the initial conversation to the opening, if it were to be recreated, it would take up to 20 years.

@Shedintears @Wf_Jahbless Fb boss ๐

@Shedintears @Wf_Jahbless Go

The problem Chelsea have they have Only two entrance to the Ground due to the Railway lines & Cemetery Extras capacity will cause more stress to the High Street that what I been told

Why the new one no carry Chelsea or CFC for the seats?

this is just an example

Unrebuild it please

Be like you drink

Chelsea fans need that new stadium energy! ๐

@grok is this real?

whatโs the capacity?

much larger than the current capacity (40 thousand)

Too much politics

that's right bro

Couldnโt sell out for Wembley semi and final. So why the need to extend Stamford bridge?

Since this owners took over na rebuilding we are in since the last four years

Awesome! If only!
