Today, at Redeemer’s University Redeemer's University, Ede, Osun State, I was glad to commission the new Institute of Genomics and Global Health, marking a significant evolution from ACEGID’s @acegid status as a center of excellence. This moment is not only a proud achievement for all those involved, but it also stands as a powerful symbol of what African scientific leadership can achieve on the global stage. Under the visionary leadership of Prof Christian Happi Christian T. Happi, the team at ACEGID has made extraordinary strides in genomic research, particularly in addressing some of the most pressing infectious disease challenges of our time. The inauguration of the Institute reminds us that the work being done by the ACEGID team is a global public good, benefiting not only Nigeria and Africa but also contributing to global health security. The partnerships fostered between institutions and scientists from the Global North and South are a testament to our shared commitment to protecting and advancing human health. This collaboration has demonstrated what is possible when we work together to confront challenges that affect us all. Under the visionary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Bola Ahmed Tinubu health security remains a central pillar of our broader strategy to transform Nigeria’s health system, unlock the value chain, and improve population health outcomes. This is why supporting cutting-edge scientific research, like the work at this Institute, is essential. Not housing. Not energy bills. Not crime. Not immigration. Not the state of the economy. Just Gaza. This is not principled. It is obsessive. It is a textbook example of someone elevating a distant conflict, however tragic, above the actual, immediate suffering of the people who live here and pay the taxes that keep the lights on. Last post on this I'd appreciate if people took the time to read it and share it because I think when people listen they deserve credit but TRNSMT have done more than that I complained about the disabled situation TRNSMT Festival and I think the fact that they listened and made changes is the kind of progressive attitude we need towards disabled facilities. I wasn't complaining to come across as some sort of Karen, it just genuinely would've been a health and safety risk. So I think it's only right that I commend them for the work they've done with the platform this year. The platform has many key things that I think make it the best at any festival I've been at. 1.Clear marked out lanes for people to move out to the toilets and back to their seat to avoid congestion and create space 2. A bar for disabled people beside the platform this is amazing. 3. Toilets well spaced out as well as a changing places toilets for people who more severe disabilities beside the platform. 4. Plenty of space in the toilets. 5. It's huge and you feel really close to the stage

The thing about the Kool Aid and Pineapple trend is that I have watched people complain about Blacks being criminals, a nuisance, useless, annoying. I have seen people claim they want to see Blacks gone and die off, disappear, Yet I remain confused when I witness the same people complain about Black people practicing capitalism, being peaceful, not being criminals, not even involve or try to gain the attention of the people that hate them and end up gaining media attention in the process, and even better for the people that hate them, pushing products that will lead to them dying off… So what is it, do you want them to practice a healthy meal schedule and do you want them to steal? It’s a strange narrative I’ve been watching.

In the legends of the Hopi, there are stories about beings called the Ant People. These beings are said to have lived underground and helped the Hopi during times of great danger. Down there, they were given food and taught how to survive until it was safe to return to the surface. The Ant People are described as hardworking and cooperative, much like ants themselves, and they are remembered as helpers rather than rulers. The stories also say the Ant People shared knowledge with the Hopi. This included how to store food, live simply, and work together as a group. In some versions, they helped guide people between different “worlds,” which are seen as cycles of time where each world ends and another begins. These teachings are still reflected in Hopi values today, especially the idea of living in balance and preparing for hard times. The underground setting is an important part of the story, and many see it as both a real place and a symbol of protection and survival during periods when the surface world becomes unstable.

Before, I saw Sana and Jihyo looking tired and even massaging their legs. But today, it is heartbreaking and painfully obvious that Sana is not okay at all. This is so painful to watch, and it has seriously gone too far seeing them in such poor condition. I don’t care if people disagree with my tweet. I cannot stay silent anymore. Watching the members suffer one by one like this is breaking my heart, and JYP’s handling of their health is deeply disappointing. I am especially disappointed in JYP. In my opinion, JYP made a huge mistake when Dahyun was sick. They did not even take her to the doctor for an X-ray. Dahyun had to endure the pain for almost a month and still perform. Even in Incheon, she had to walk to the parking lot while limping, without any ankle support or a wheelchair. Before that, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung were sick and had to miss the tour. We even had to watch Jihyo perform while she was sick, sitting on a chair on stage. That was painful to see. Then Mina had to be absent today because of health issues, and now we can clearly see that Sana is also not in good condition. Watching this happen again and again is exhausting and heartbreaking. How many times do we have to see the members suffer before their health is truly taken seriously? I know concerts and schedules are decided together by the members and the agency. But why does it feel like the girls’ health is always the last thing being considered? Can’t the agency do better and put their health first, just once? The girls are the kind of idols who truly love meeting fans. They will keep showing up even when they are unwell, as long as they can still stand. That is exactly what scares me the most. That is why JYP must take better care of them. Please, I’m begging make the girls’ health the top priority above anything else. Realizing people might not have realized that by "flower game" I mean this end screen is a DIRECT reference to the book of unveiling in Destiny 2, which itself refers to a modified version of John Horton Conway's Game of Life; the book refers to this as The Flower Game, a zero-player game where the only move is the initial set up of the pieces and their behaviors. I think if this Durandal is the one from the end of Marathon Infinity, then perhaps he's found a way to influence the Flower Game, and is using that influence to re-write the universe to create a reality that allows his escape from reality itself.
