Recent stuff got me thinking about the arm shield in the Secret Level Armored Core episode. They absolutely put the shield on the arm instead of a backpack arm for rule of cool and they were right for it. It could totally work in an AC game, since balance...

Long text posts are destined to be ignored by the algorithm, but I'd love if you shared it because I CARE A LOT about this aspect of Armored Core. Something I really want FromSoftware to note is how Soft Lock/Target Assist:OFF should function in future Armored Core titles. Currently on a surface level, using Soft Lock means higher accuracy right? However that reality is that it comes with delays in shooting because ACs turn back around to the target because they match movement direction when not firing + this also messes up your movement with serious momentum/speed losses when changing directions. An easy fix in making Soft Lock feel better to play with is to either always have the AC face an enemy if you are targeting it OR just have the AC always face the direction you are looking in, just like old Armored Core. I really just want to play AC without feeling punished for controlling my camera manually. #AC6 #armoredcore #アーマードコア6

Young pitchers, catchers, and quarterbacks all seem to have their “arm care” programs — long lists of band exercises that, honestly, don’t do much to actually prepare a young athlete to throw. For developing kids, I prefer the term “arm resilience.” Instead of fragile maintenance routines, we should be building durable, adaptable arms that can handle the demands of throwing — through movement, coordination, and controlled stress. "Arm resilience” work isn’t about babying the arm; it’s about building it.

Debated posting this from Saturday but maybe y’all can help me out. Overlook the right arm that wouldn’t fire on the start. Idk what’s up with that. 🤦‍♀️ Anyways you can really see the left arm issues in the video. Can y’all tell if it is my elbow, shoulder, wrist? It seems like it doesn’t rotate or straighten like the right. Or it seems shorter. Just thought someone might could pick up on the problem here. Maybe I could work on fixing it. 🤷‍♀️
