For every victim who felt powerless and alone, this is for you. Tonight the House passed the TAKE IT DOWN Act to crack down on non-consensual imagery, videos and deepfakes. Now it goes to President Donald J. Trump’s desk. To Senator Ted Cruz, as a victim of voyeurism, as a woman, as a girl mom, I want to say from the deepest place in my heart, and my soul, I thank you. Real men protect women. Thank you for holding the line for us.

Most importantly, the real beginning was the fans who are here right now. I’d like to start by saying thank you so much. And I want to say thank you to my family here for being another source of encouragement to keep (me) going, for being another goal, and for being a great example as an artist, which has made me become the Daou I am today. (I) grew up constantly listening to music (because) my older sister would take me to the Chinese opera house to watch Pa and Ma perform. It is something that is in my blood, and I have always been proud of it. It is not only Ma who is proud of me, but I am also proud of being your son. And thank you to all of my friends who came to support me, both those who could not make it and those who are sitting here right now. Thank you so much, truly. It means a lot. Maybe I’m wrong, but your businesses sure do look sketchy to me.
