Recently, volunteers from CDT in Inner Mongolia supported inclusive employment by purchasing A4 paper produced with the involvement of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Behind each sheet is dedication and effort—work that deserves to be seen, valued, and respected.

Today I was in the Inner City and was pleased to that Inner City Rejuvenation Plan adopted during my tenure as Mayor became with some of the 154 properties awarded. The power of a committed political leadership supported by the private sector investments. World class students' accommodation. I have unfinished business to see to it that the entire city is reclaimed from criminal syndicates, and work with the private sector to build affordable accommodation for our residents. Joburg is FIXABLE and will be FIXED.

A page of the CDC's website was changed to include a false claim about autism and vaccines. A section that once said, "No links have been found between any vaccine ingredients and Autism spectrum disorder," now reads, "'Vaccines do not cause autism' is not an evidence-based claim." Multiple CDC officials familiar with the situation said the change was made by political appointees inside the Department of Health and Human Services without input from relevant agency staffers. CBS News' Jonathan LaPook, M.D has more.

First Lady inaugurates Pakistan’s first dedicated autism residential centre and inclusive park in Karachi First Lady Bibi Asifa Bhutto Zardari MNA and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah today inaugurated Pakistan’s first dedicated autism residential centre and Pakistan’s first inclusive park at the Centre for Autism Rehabilitation & Training (C-ARTS) in Korangi, marking a major step towards strengthening support for persons with autism. Established in 2018, C-ARTS is the first autism centre in Pakistan to provide diagnosis, rehabilitation, education, skills training and employment support for children with autism under one roof. It has four centres in Karachi and centres in Hyderabad, Gambat, Sukkur, Larkana and Shaheed Benazirabad, providing free services, transport and stipends. The centre also offers parent training programmes and has a professional training centre. During the briefing, the First Lady was informed that the newly inaugurated residential facility will provide comprehensive care, respite services, rehabilitation, training and long-term support in a safe and inclusive environment. The First Lady was further briefed on the digitisation of C-ARTS services. The C-ARTS registration portal has gone live as part of Phase-I of the digitisation process, with the aim of moving towards a paper-free system and maintaining a single digital record for each child.
