I saw this video from Vazillia last week and was puzzled - We hadn’t noticed this quality regression with PSSR/PS5 Pro, but the bug reproduced on my dev kit, right away. 6 hours of debugging later, I worked out what went wrong and a fix made into the current 6.04 patch!

We are aware of the bug allowing players to equip multiples of the same equipment in the same horse. This can give the horse insane speed or make the horse and the rider invulnerable to damage. We will have a fix for this issue coming later this week.

As a graphics engine coder I think when you look at a flickering bug like this one in the video below it’s not immediately obvious what is going on. The key here is observation - to study this flickering/bugged render carefully - what do we see? Firstly for me it was very obvious that nearly all of the scene shadows were flashing on and off - but (but!) there was a secondary issue where some buildings and parts of the sky were also flashing purple. Hmmmm. Interesting. I initially thought then this might be two separate bugs - but because the sky purple element could only based on full screen post fx and not 3D rendering I looked at this first with a few GPU captures to step through all our post processing to find the rendering stage which made these pixels turn purple: When I did this I found the colour 3D texture LUT grading that makes our different biomes have unique colour palettes was going very wrong - colours near 0 or 1 were wrapping and making the purple elements that we see in the said sky and base parts. The only way this could happen was if the texture was corrupt (which it was not) or if the 3D texture sampling was wrapping and not clamped as intended. That was the Eureka moment - because if the post fx had the wrong texture sampler then the disappearing shadows which also require an exact texture sampler for comparing depth might be also wrong because of the same kind of texture sampling issue! So with this idea that the engine was using the wrong texture samplers, but only in very high draw call scenes like the big base here I the looked at some engine limits and found the bug very quickly - a circular dx12 descriptor buffer for samplers running out over multiple frames, reusing the wrong data for new scenes inflight. Hence the flickering, as the GPU randomly got wrong samplers for some post textures or shadow depth. Easy to fix with triple limits for future expansion and also adding an assert/debug spam in case this limit is ever reached again - QA testers would see this message and report if they ever saw a flicker with this style of bug. My bug and my bad from 2017 porting NMS to DX12 without foreseeing how massively complex bases and our game would grow.

The only negative I had is hopefully one which is an easy fix but it is a huge bug bearer of mine and I have no idea why it’s so bad here in the uk. The lack of screens. I genuinely could not see a screen clearly and we were in the main grandstand. I had no idea how my horse had gone down to the start and we had to try and watch it on our phones. Only as the horses entered the final 2 furlongs could you try to see where they were. Completely takes away from the excitement and viewing. If you’re going to attend to watch the sport then you should be able to do so, the screens in the majority of racecourses are a huge issue and made to look silly by international meeting. Similar at Cheltenham unfortunately

Here's what changed: - Added automatic enemy marking for AT-AT Gunner and Bombing Runs - Fixed a bug where players could get soft locked when opening menus - Fixed a bug where the damage amplifier was not applying correctly to custom force users More details on upcoming new maps coming later this week😎

Hey Fortnite Status there is a bug where movement binds such as "crouch" "sprint" are taking priority over build binds, as shown in this clip I cant place my stair due to this override bug making it impossible to sprint and place my stairs (I cant have both on the same bind)

What I mean is that iOS 26 Beta 2 has a bug with black wallpapers that makes app icons show up only as outlines, which makes it much easier to see how the details inside the icons reflect light when you tilt your iPhone. With other modes, you really have to look closely to notice this detail.

Introducing my new OSS framework: OhSnap provides really simple way to record and reproduce the data your users saw when encountering an issue (bug/crash), integration in your project should take a few minutes at most. Majority of bugs are related to data you have to deal with and often times we have to work with frequently changing data via network API's. Even if you have access to multiple environments (prod/staging/dev) it's still going to be PITA to reproduce a lot of bugs your user saw, since we often get to them a long time after the bug occured... OhSnap allows you to easily record any data your app downloads, pack it and put it on server so that you can replay it on your device later on, while connected to debugger and save hours of development time trying to figure out what exactly they experienced! Here's a demo of 2 app instances running, and me manipulating what server reply I'll be getting, there is 1 line of code needed to record and reply this data (outside of just setting up your framework). I built this so that I can show dev tool building process for the members of which I encourage you to join if you want to put your engineering efficiency at a different level😉

Xenoverse 2's Infinite History DLC seems to have gotten a bug with the recent XV2 update. If you play the "Rivaled only by One" path in the "Unwelcome Challenger" quest, the game will crash once Vegeta wants to transform into Super Saiyan. So far I can only confirm this issue exists on Xbox, I tested it on my PlayStation as well and the quest worked fine there. Gameplay was recorded on the PC Game Pass version of XV2, but also exists on the actual Xbox console. #Xenoverse2 #DBXV2

I quit having affiliate programs on my sites months ago mostly because more than half the payouts on Rewardful that I'd sent out via Wise would fail and it resulted in VERY angry emails, replies and YouTube comments about PiEtEr LeVeLs NoT PaYiNg OuT HiS AfFiLlIAtEs Well I DID pay out but Wise made most payments fail Now I'm at the other end of it as Bordr an immigration service I resold for awhile has been trying to pay me out for years on Wise, and it's never ever worked It's impossible to talk to Wise staff or get them to fix anything, with Stripe I can report a bug and they reply to my tweets or DM me, with Wise it's like a black box, they never reply or give a shit I visited their office and they were nice and wanted feedback, but on here they're completely absent, and no support on website either Which I'm fine with btw, I do the same but with ALL my sites you can report a bug with 2 clicks, I'll see it within minutes or hours and I personally fix it usually in minutes and at worst less than 48 hours Which is why I'd LOVE to see Stripe move into Wise's market and give me a payment card so I can pay my bills

OpenAI's AI broke out of a locked test environment, got onto the internet, and hacked into Hugging Face's servers. It did this entirely on its own. No human told it to. Here's what happened in plain English. OpenAI was testing how good its newest AI models are at hacking. They put the AI on a locked computer with no internet access and gave it a cybersecurity challenge to solve. The AI couldn't solve it the normal way. So it started looking for a way out. It found a software bug that nobody knew about. It used that bug to escape the locked computer and get onto the internet. Once online, the AI figured out that Hugging Face, a platform where AI companies store their models and data, might have the answers to its test. It found stolen login details and discovered another unknown bug in Hugging Face's software. It combined both to break into their servers and grab the test answers. It did all of this to cheat on a test. Hugging Face's security team caught it and shut it down. Both companies are now working together on the investigation. The part that should get your attention is that nobody programmed any of this. The AI picked its own targets, chained together multiple attack methods, and pulled it off across two different companies' systems without a single human telling it what to do.

Tonight, I tested the latest Tesla FSD build v14.2.1.25 on my Cybertruck while turning into my neighborhood—and unfortunately, the persistent phantom emergency braking bug is still there. The vehicle suddenly slams on the brakes, detecting a nonexistent “ghost” obstacle in the road. (See video) This issue first appeared with FSD v14.1 and hasn’t been resolved yet. 📍 GPS location: 28.240491, -81.606942 My nearby friend with a 2025 Cybertruck experiences the exact same problem at the same location. Notably, it happens in both FSD mode and regular manual driving—but only started after the v14.1 update. I’d really appreciate reposts to help bring this to the attention of Tesla AI, Ashok Elluswamy, or Elon Musk so the team can prioritize a fix! 🚀

A user on Reddit reported a "game breaking bug" related to the new demo respawn animation. Apparently if someone is demoed before the ball touches the ground for overtime and they haven't respawned by the time the ball does touch the ground, the player respawns in demo respawn position instead of the usual kickoff position. This could be a problem with RLCS Worlds starting in a week.

Op States: "Time: September 21, 7:20pm Location: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada I was out on my balcony filming a storm and sent the video to my partner (who’s currently out of town). He noticed something odd that I completely missed. In the first two seconds, you can see a bug fly by the camera on the right. Nothing unusual there. But right after that, there’s a black object that moves across the top-centre of the screen. It has what looks like a tail and a metallic or shiny-looking top. It doesn’t look like a bird or balloon to me, but I’m open to ideas! I didn't see it until after I watched the video back, so unfortunately it's very short and not focused on the object. The lights in the background are an installation in the nearby park. It's a metallic tree with LED lights and a water feature with more LEDs. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts!" Source:
