The proprotion of the opening is too large. This should be detailed with a Milgobufkin metal bead at no greater than 3/4" wide. I used to detail this for gallery spaces on floor/wall/ceiling for 100s of hours at my first firm.

Blegh. Disgusting. Death to false ceilings. Look at the giant hole they had to cut to install a single cable at the end. Braindead aesthetic.
