Actually, socialism prevents reckless/wasteful spending. Wasteful spending is the road to capitalism. It’s also caused by capitalism. Capitalism has basically never existed without wasteful spending. I know it’s easier to call it something else rather than admit your economic philosophy is a complete failure. But facts are facts 🤷🏽‍♂️

1) US has been capitalist this whole time 2) US has the biggest debt, by far 3) Republicans add to that debt faster than Republicans. E.g. Trump Reckless spending is a capitalist Republican position

Socialist also is policy… We do not have a socialist President, nor a DSA majority in congress. Most of the Democrats call themselves capitalist. Your so called problem with “spending” doesn’t stick.

Please. You can't actually 'spend' your way to 'Socialism. Anymore than you can 'spend' your way to Capitalism. It depends on the program. That said, 'Reckless' spending is more a product of 'Capitalism'. It's about the dollar yield rather than long-term sustainable benefit.
