Last I checked, a game wasn't great by how good the rain looked. If you want good looking rain, just watch videos of rainstorms on YouTube or go outside when one comes your way. Gaming is for enjoying the story and gameplay, good graphics or not.

Weird how everybody always brings up Red Dead in these, but Breath of the Wild is even older and is actually more impressive when it comes to physics and real time effects.
