The CAT Team returned to the corner of 204th and George B Lake Parkway this week because evidently some people still haven't gotten the message. Let's say it together: 🔴(red) means stop, 🟢(green)means go, 🟡(yellow) means clear the intersection because the light is changing, unless it's a flashing yellow turn arrow, which means use caution and turn when clear. Under no circumstance does it mean grip the wheel, floor the gas and try to beat it.

Here's a simplified guide on Yesod Phase 1 (Extreme and below) : - There are 6 pillars, you only need to hit 5. - Every single pillar destroyed will fill up the bar at bottom left which will give you buffs. How to know which pillars to hit first? Look at the glow on the ground, if it glows blue you hit red pillar. It glows red, you hit blue pillar. Then alternate from there. - Alternate the pillars between blue, red, blue, red, blue OR red, blue, red, blue, red - DO NOT destroy two or more pillar at once or you will get stunned (beware of AoE students) -Every pillar you destroy gives you back 3.6 cost so manage your cost properly and don't overcap (buffs and heals) Once Yesod hand hits you and you see the shield from the last pillar, that's when you go all in and spam skills (max buffs 5 bar at bottom left) Below is a sample clip on how to do it on first sequence of Phase 1, (where Yesod hits you with his right arm) so do blue, red, blue, red, blue. The second sequence of Phase 1 (where Yesod hits you with his left arm) you need to hit (red, blue, red, blue, red). Sit and spin! Yesterday we talked about the development of crawling. But I’m just as fascinated by the complex array of motor and cognitive skills on display here as this little one mimics his spinning toy giraffe. Watch how he manages to coordinate use of his arms and legs to revolve just as the toy does… using his heels to push off into the same counter clockwise spin and his arms to build and maintain momentum. But it not just that he can revolve. He manages to: - roughly approximate the speed of the toy’s rotation - visually track the giraffe, using its cues to start and stop his movement on demand, as if playing a game of “red light, green light” - time his singing to match the periods of rotation. 🥒HIGH PROTEIN MEDITERRANEAN CUCUMBER SALAD This is super fresh, crunchy, creamy, packed with protein, and one of those easy meals you can throw together in under 15 minutes and feel really good after eating. It’s light but filling, loaded with texture, and gives serious Mediterranean food vibes without needing a ton of ingredients. Makes 2 huge servings. This is such a great healthy easy lunch or light high protein dinner. Here is how I made it: 1.Start by browning 12oz of lean ground beef (I used 90/10) in a pan over medium heat. Season it with 1 tbsp oregano, 1 tbsp sweet paprika, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1/2 tbsp garlic powder, and generous salt and pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked through. I go a little longer here at the end on medium-high heat at the end for about 5-7 mins to almost crisp up the beef. 2.While that’s going. slice 5-6 Persian cucumbers and add them to a large bowl or 2 jars with 1/4 finely diced red onion and 1 small cubed avocado. Add the cooked ground beef on top. with 3 tbsp thick greek yogurt, 2-3 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley and mint, a couple squeezes of fresh lemon juice, 2 tbsp crumbled feta, 1 tsp red chili flakes, and a pinch of salt and pepper. 4.Toss everything together really well, and enjoy immediately. We're driving down there, I got an odd phone number pops up in my truck. And I go like, Mr. Harrison, I'm the head of the Secret Service in D.C. We have the Las Vegas Under Sheriff and the White House staff. We're all on the phone right here. The big guy says, get you to the convention center. And they go, when you get to Decatur, stop at the light. Whether the light is red or green, flash your headlights. I get there, the light was green. People are honking at me. I just stop, flash my headlights. 8 cop cars come out of nowhere. I get a call, follow us. And my 15-year-old son is going like, Dad, who do you know? He's like, you're the coolest dude. A few people, but this is like extreme. It's just, it's a pretty cool story.”

This video is the one Kim Runner shared with me in July 2024 about how to tell whether you or others are NPCs. I can vividly imagine the stickiness and feel of holding an apple in my hand, the sensation of it denting when I squeeze it hard, its smell, and even its texture. Honestly, I was greatly shocked to learn that some people cannot do this. Below is the transcript of the audio.⬇️ Have you guys seen this experiment where you can not only test if the people around you are NPCs, but if you yourself are? Check this out. And if you don't know what an NPC is, basically, in the video game world, it's someone that's not being controlled by a person, just a random computer-generated thing. And in the real world, same thing, maybe just someone that's not being controlled by a soul. So I heard this experiment on a podcast, and I thought it was kind of crazy until I tried it out myself. And it has to do with apples. And you can probably use any object, but for our purposes, we're going to stick with apples. So there are going to be multiple layers to what I'm going to ask you to imagine. And depending on how far you can imagine it might just depend on if you're an NPC or not. So with this blank screen, I want you to picture a red apple here. Can you picture a red apple? If you can, great. So far, you're not an NPC. Next, I'd like you to think of that red apple, and in your mind—you can close your eyes if you need to—think of that apple as green. Can you change it to a green apple? Can you see a green apple without looking at it? Now stick with me. We're getting to the good parts here. If you can picture a red apple and then a green apple, great, but here's where a lot of people get stuck. And I'm taking away the image here. I want you to picture that green apple in your mind, and can you go in, and can you pick up that apple? Can you manipulate it? Can you move it around? Can you in your mind be holding it, and then all of a sudden it turns from green to purple? Do you have the ability to do that? Because for me, I could, no problem. I could hold that, I could throw it, I could take a bite of it, anything I wanted to do with that apple, I could do in my mind. But the shocking part was, as I was listening to this on the podcast, one person, they were stuck. They couldn't do anything but change colors. They couldn't grab it, they couldn't manipulate it. It was stuck there. One person couldn't even change colors of the apple. But I didn't believe this until I tried it on my wife. And my wife, she could change the color—she could go green and red—but she didn't have the ability to manipulate that apple. She couldn't grab that apple, she couldn't throw that apple. I'm juggling this apple, I'm doing all sorts of things with it, but hers is just a stuck image. And I thought that was nuts. I thought just because I had the ability to manipulate things in my mind and control things, that everybody did, but clearly that's not the case. And this leads me down the path of maybe this is why some people can't grasp the topics or the understanding of not living where we've been told we live our entire lives, because they can't visualize it, they can't think outside the green and red apple. Now, I'm not actually saying my wife is an NPC, but I do think our brains operate differently. I do think some are more right, some are more left, some are right down the middle, and some just don't really choose to think. But try it out, guys, because I found it fascinating, and I would love to hear how you did during this little experiment. Put it in the comments, test it on the people around you, and let me know, cause I want to know if I'm in the majority or if I'm in the minority. But something tells me I might be in the minority. I want you to picture that green apple in your mind, and can you go in, and can you pick up that apple? Can you manipulate it? Can you move it around? Can you in your mind be holding it, and then all of a sudden it turns from green to purple? Do you have the ability to do that? Because for me, I could, no problem. I could hold that, I could throw it, I could take a bite of it, anything I wanted to do with that apple, I could do in my mind. But the shocking part was, as I was listening to this on the podcast, one person, they were stuck. They couldn't do anything but change colors. They couldn't grab it, they couldn't manipulate it. It was stuck there. One person couldn't even change colors of the apple. But I didn't believe this until I tried it on my wife. And my wife, she could change the color—she could go green and red—but she didn't have the ability to manipulate that apple. She couldn't grab that apple, she couldn't throw that apple. I'm juggling this apple, I'm doing all sorts of things with it, but hers is just a stuck image. And I thought that was nuts. I thought just because I had the ability to manipulate things in my mind and control things, that everybody did, but clearly that's not the case. And this leads me down the path of maybe this is why some people can't grasp the topics or the understanding of not living where we've been told we live our entire lives, because they can't visualize it, they can't think outside the green and red apple. Now, I'm not actually saying my wife is an NPC, but I do think our brains operate differently. I do think some are more right, some are more left, some are right down the middle, and some just don't really choose to think. But try it out, guys, because I found it fascinating, and I would love to hear how you did during this little experiment. Full Night Marsh Observatory run The process: 1. Get 7 UESC Certs 2. Find an Observatory Labs key (you can find these in caches revealed by UESC towers, Anomalous Drone, HVT, any map event) 3. Go to Complex and use 7 Certs on the blast door on either side 4. Defeat the UESC waves and take the elevator up 5. Go to the top floor and interact with the terminal. This will enable green shootable buttons with a blue border, much like the ones in Cryo. First room requires 3. 6. Go through the now-open blast door, repeat the process. Second room requires 4. 7. Go through the now-open blast door, repeat the process. Third and final room requires 5. 8. Go to the side room on the right, and use the Observatory key. 9. Kill the UESC that spawn, they will eventually enable shootable buttons. Shoot them. 10. Repeat this process until the Warden spawns, then kill it. 11. Once the Warden is dead and all buttons have been shot, proceed through the middle room that is now open, and enjoy the loot. There are other rooms you can unlock by either shooting the red border buttons you come across throughout, and/or by having a LIDAR scope and shooting the buttons in the last room in the order they're written when seen through the LIDAR scope.
