this type of questioning about men’s influence in society avoids the key fact that men only have that influence because of the force and history of patriarchy and the hierarchy is a social construct not a natural state

If either gender completely disappears, the world would be doomed. The world needs both men and women and the unique wonderful gifts both genders add to the world.
