It does look cool but I always wondered if it has any impact on performance. BTHP is arguably more accurate at long range. In 300 blackout I guess that doesn’t matter though.

Eh, 'long range' isn't as much of a concern for .300BLK. They're very accurate to 200 yards and beyond and realistically that's about as far as most anyone is shooting anyway.
