The advance of two armies and a tank division of the Russian armed forces was repelled: forces of the First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine destroyed dozens of units of equipment and a large number of occupier personnel. On July 22, the occupiers, using forces of the 8th and 41st Armies along with the 90th Tank Division, attempted an assault in the sector held by the First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine, involving dozens of units of armored and light vehicles. The 41st Guards Combined Arms Army and the 90th Guards Vitebsk-Novgorod Tank Division of the Russian armed forces advanced from the area of the settlement of Novoekonomichne, while forces of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army simultaneously advanced from the area of the village of Vozdvyzhenka. For four hours, they attempted to enter settlements in the area of the village of Shakhove. The enemy attempted to deny the sky to Ukrainian forces using "Gerbera" and "Lancet" strike drones.
