If you listen yo @Ofgem's explanation for the increases, they are all net-zero costs or loading bills to pay for the Warm Homes Discount that they took away from pensioners last winter! And by ramping up the standing charges, everybody pays, whether they use energy at all! The reality is that UK energy prices are accelerating higher and faster than any developed country in the world! All when wholesale prices have collapsed. We are being fleeced with the full support of @UKLabour ! 😡

Germany and Ireland rely on renewables (29%41% respectively) and pay 33p and 31p per kw/hr compared to the UKs 0.28p thanks to still using fossil fuels. China pays 5-7p per kw/hr thanks to its use of coal, which the UK has in abundance but would sooner see people freeze than use
