Is this legislation going to also pass in the Senate? If not, then it is pointless. Appearing to do something and actually doing something are very different things. Worth also noting that Republicans enacted Title 42 and ended it, but want all the blame on the Democrats.

You control the purse and could stop funding specific programs that would hurt Mayorkas and insist on doing their jobs. The only bill democrats would agree to is mass amnesty and chain migration.
