Do your best with it, we live in the North Atlantic.

#ExtraCancha HUBO REUNIÓN 🙌 La noche de ayer, el presidente Trump anunció que tendría una reunión con Canadá y México la mañana de hoy. ¿Qué se sabe? Te lo contamos. 👇 #Trump #Sheinbaum #Aranceles

My thoughts? Would the confidence scale be for the whole forecast? Precipitation already has "chance of precipitation" %. Other aspects obviously are times, severity, locations affected, temp fluctuations, etc. I'd say it's good as it is now.

You do a great job, Eddie. There are just some people out there who think weather forecasting is an exact science. You don’t control the clouds and how much stuff they dump on us or the wind and how hard it blow. We should always just plan for the worst - hope for the best.

You do a great job my friend!! I love listening to you give out the weather!!

I think that weather forecasting has become extremely good over the years. Perhaps people should just come to terms with the fact that certainty is not feasible. You can devise all the confidence models you want, the weather could still turn on a dime.

schools in metro closed an hour early. I didn’t mind it at all. When i was a kid they wouldn’t close until the storm hit and that was worse

I don't think it will help - if you make a low confidence forecast people will want you to pick one and stick with it. Then when you get some of these wrong they will call you incompetent, and if you try and give a probabilistic forecast they won't understand it anyways.

They don't even hear the words "possability"

Call it the Sheer Confidence Scale and give your percentage % as a visual. 😃 ❄️
