Reform UK appoints Simon Dudley as their 'housing and infrastructure spokesperson'. This is Simon in 2019 telling a room full of Muslims that they won't build homes on a site, even though there's a monumental housing crisis. Tells them he'll keep the land for them to "expand".

Development charges increase the cost of homes for everyone. They are a housing tax. During a housing crisis, we don’t think you should raise taxes on housing. That’s why provinces and cities must freeze the fees in order to get federal infrastructure funding. Conservatives have no plan to address these taxes. RT if you agree that cities should freeze this tax on housing.

Housing is a human right. No one in this city should have to worry about losing their home or end up on the streets due to systemic issues. Homelessness and the housing crisis are not two different problems, they are two sides of the same coin. And they have the same solution – permanent affordable housing. Trickle down economics is a fallacy. The market cannot provide affordable housing. Prices are only going up, driving people into homelessness, or out of the city entirely. Rae will build social housing on public lands and speed up housing production citywide, cutting red tape while keeping in place tenant and homeowner protections to ensure that people are able to keep their homes. Rae will streamline the city’s housing strategy, creating a Mayor’s Office of Housing For All to consolidate these different departments under one roof, with a public dashboard to track progress and hold us accountable. My message on CNN This Morning: 1.) Republicans should start Q1 of ‘26 with two major legislative initiatives aimed directly at addressing the affordability crisis. 2.) The GOP should lead the charge in addressing the housing shortage. Without more homes, affordability never really improves. 3.) Tie the housing crisis to the crisis facing young men. Train them on the job, certify them, and put them to work building the homes our country desperately needs. They would gain skills, real income, and a path back to purpose. This is a strategy that Republicans can execute, run on, and ultimately win on. Zero talking points (I hate them), this is a real plan and strategy that improves the lives of the American people.

A visual of a new build housing estate auction that was sent to Michael McCarthy FFG are forcing Irish families to compete with the world for the right to a home in the midst of what was / is a housing crisis. This is just so wrong in so many levels. FFG could follow Spains lead and introduce a tax for non-nationals buying homes or create legislation barring them from home ownership unless they are long-term residents, or roll out mass deportations.
