Whats more frustrating is - Some embassies outright refuse to consider reconsideration requests - Middle East embassies refused application with same reasons after JR settlement. NO regard of Federal Court.

The success rate for reconsideration requests is very low, likely because IRCC receives so many and it’s difficult for them to review each one carefully. The good news is judicial review often leads to a settlement, but the applicant usually has to pay significant legal fees. When you look at IRCC emails, it becomes obvious they get a ton of reconsideration requests.
