Regarding Streamelements shutdown news, I thought I'd share the app I work with for my widgets and plan to make public worst case. It can import overlays from SE and interacts with real Twitch events through browser source. I'll explain more about my plan below

Essentially, any user who has purchased a widget from me will be able to access their it through the app by entering the link they received upon purchase. I'm thinking about adding integration over to whichever new platform will be most widely used as well for ease of access.

This wont be immediate, since I'll be working with the developers that I collaborated with in making it to add new necessary features before release that will take time and testing. Again, this is if worst case happens. In the meantime I’d love to hear recommendations on where ppl are most likely switching over to 🫶

We don't know what will happen for sure yet, I think they're exploring options and will probably get sold which means the platform could go in any direction after so it's best to be prepared!

Yeah I just looked up an article 💀 I’ll be very disappointed if it shuts down it’ll be the 4th time I’ll have had to re-build my set up either on a new app or bc things got lost or corrupted so that will stink if it happens. Good to see creators like you preparing though! 💜
