For a long time I feel like for a lot of EU or NA players, whenever someone does something like this (or any kind of trolling), people thought it was funny, and those people tend to get more popularity that way. How is this any different?

It was funny and awesome to watch Spag, people should know by now that Atif is such a humble and nice guy. Regarding the video itself, I think him not doing his combos was seen as super cheeky like it was an attempt to embarrass the guy. I was kinda like damn that’s cold lol

I thought the clip was really funny if anything lol Very warped perception to think otherwise

As a Japanese I wanna clarify that in JP/KR community, embarrassing your opponents (including the "a lesson") is taken as the biggest disrespect, much more than teabagging or ki-charging. I feel sorry for insults to Atif and you, but I also want you to understand this difference.

You laughing in the corner in the clip didnt help. But yeah like others have said its not that deep. If anything it exposed people who were already feeling some type of way about pakistani players.

Most of fgc are ignorant biased racists which pretend to be neutral. In twt finals lowhigh not only tea bag atif he was taunting him even before match started about his bad english and during rock paper scissors as cheap mental tactic to get him emotional. ofc crowd was cheering.

I dont think what atif is bad what so ever lool, I actually like it on really good players. Tekken needs more trash talking and BM, Street fighter has more trash talking/bm players which makes it entertaining

Who cares tbh, it aint that deep

Spag bro these Japanese or koreans (only those who are making hate comments about atif) are immature and kids.thats all

Bro you did what you do best. Rage bait 😂 nah but seriously I feel bad for Atif. Man’s father recently passed away and he dealing with twitter BS.

I know for japanese community is disrespectful what Atif did (not for all of them) But what cause me arch a eyebrow is why they call out, and insult Atif for it, when it's a tournament in USA, and the clip is between Atif and a NA player? It looks like a pretext to hate on him

By the way, what did Atif do wrong? Beating an opponent by repeating the same move?

I agree with you

He deserves to be 9th in the Evo

what did he do
