China welcomes the #Gaza ceasefire. We hope the ceasefire can be permanent, and we are concerned about the ongoing sporadic fighting. The Security Council does have a role to play. We hope that there could be a resolution endorsing the ceasefire, pointing the way for the two-State solution, and concerning issues related to the stabilization force. All these things should be discussed at the Security Council, and hopefully we can have consensus on a resolution on that.
