If they had bright green Lycra and semen shaped helmets on with 8 grand road bikes, they’d get to work 11 seconds quicker

That's bloody ace. What leapt out at me was all the peds waiting for the cyclists before crossing. When I was commuting there 15 years back the City was a bloody nightmare for peds just stepping out without looking.

The exponential growth will continue - I’ve found it far cheaper, quicker and (usually) more pleasant to get across town on an ebike than tube or taxi.
