@_emjlin @gilgNYC the checkout tools in particular make this a really excellent ship for webmcp support. great work!

@_emjlin @gilgNYC going to try these on a dev store this week, mostly curious how they deal with a custom cart

@_emjlin @gilgNYC is webmcp supported for all browsers now ?

@_emjlin @gilgNYC This looks great

@_emjlin @gilgNYC why not enalbed for the shopify apps embedded iframe with the allow="tools" property?

@_emjlin @gilgNYC Hey “Darryl”

@_emjlin @gilgNYC Checkout is where I see agents break too. Same agent on a bakery's own site, no tools: back to scraping, or a 403?

@_emjlin @gilgNYC Every site should have webmco by now

@_emjlin @gilgNYC @_emjlin spotted

@_emjlin @gilgNYC structured actions beat agents scraping the storefront

@_emjlin @gilgNYC cool i knew webmcp will blew up considering how much heavy lifting agents have to do on site

@_emjlin @gilgNYC lovely. webMCP is likely the only solution that can handle all the nuances on top of regular add to cart - like bundles, preorders, subscriptions etc.

WebMCP matters only if the agent can finish a purchase, not just read a catalog. The failure I see is checkout: inventory, shipping and tax must be tool calls, not scraped text. Which guardrail stops an agent discounting the wrong variant? I have tested AI storefront tools for 3 years, on 20 years cross-border, and checkout accuracy beat catalog speed every time.

@_emjlin @gilgNYC You had me at add discount code🔥👏🏾
