(Re)Introducing Refund Control! Some background; on iOS, Apple approves every refund request unless you respond to the notification they send. RevenueCat responds for you, and for a long time one of the options was "always decline". We removed it. Declining every request regardless of the reason pushes users into...

@elwatto Amazing! I wanted to implement exactly this on our backend and set the preference in RC, much easier this way!

Can you preview which policy a past refund would match before enabling it? With ordered rules, a broad audience could quietly catch requests meant for a more specific one.

Launching a 7-day trial next month, and the policy I actually want is: approve if they never opened the app after the trial converted, decline if they've been using it daily. Can an Audience see in-app usage, or only purchase history?

can a policy look at how long they've been subscribed or only activity?

Policy-powered refunds are a better fit than a universal decline toggle. The interesting metric is whether chargebacks drop without increasing support load.

Decline every refund and you train people to charge back. I would approve anyone who never finished the core job, and only fight refunds after a completed session.

Refund flows need plain language because frustration arrives before anyone reads the policy. Clarity is a feature when money is involved.

the ‘active for weeks’ example feels tricky. someone might keep opening an app because it's broken, not because they got value from it. can support history factor into a refund policy?

refunds are the quiet ios tax: apple takes 30% up front and gives devs no say over the refund, so you eat the loss twice. good to finally see tooling.

Being Dominant means being the One in Control. Some people love it and some hate it, but either way, there is always someone in control and the areas where you are not the one in control, are where you have given that control to someone else! Being the one in control means being the one people TRUST to lead, to be in charge. And for us to hold that responsibility, we gotta be not only comfortable with that role, but to love it! To want it. Control holds negative connotations, yet if it is exerted by someone with positive intentions, it is very healthy. It means you trust yourself and don't need to rely on others to direct you. NOT being in control means chaos. It means helplessness. It means inability to make decisions. Or to take initiatives. It means you are the one that follows. And if that is what you actually desire you have to be conscious of that choice. Otherwise you fall into that role and then wonder why nothing goes as you want. And if you choose to follow, choose your leader wisely. There always is someone in control, someone in charge, someone that leads. There is always a power dynamic. Truth is, we feel safe with those in control. Especially when they show us that them being in that role is positive for us. But so many people trust others more than they trust themselves! Which means being constantly influenced by everyone else's option and advice... which makes then the ones in control of your life! Decide WHO you want to take control when you want or need it, but also choose when YOU should be The One in charge. Developing that self-trust requires radical self responsibility. Which is what people struggle with. Nobody wants to be responsible for anything. And then we blame everyone for why our lives are not what we want them to be. And if you DO want to dominate, start by controling your own Self, your own thoughts, your own life. You can't expect others to trust YOU if YOU don't. Think about it... those that are in control are the people that have the most influence in the world. So if conscious people who desire to create a positive change take more control/responsibility, it would literally change society as we know it.

Fan Video For #TAEMIN in Chile 🇨🇱 [English]: "Hello, Taemin from this part of the world we open our hearts to send you this message. Showing you the deep love and admiration we have for you. Every step you take, every melody you share and every time we see your smile the bond between us grows stronger despite the distance. Chile it's a country that it's far away from Korea, it's on the other side of the world. Here when the sun shines there (in Korea) the sun sets. The distance, cultural and linguistic differences seem to distance us but none of that has stopped us or prevented us from deciding to always be by your side. The time difference (12hs), more than an impediment, it's a way to strive for your dreams while you rest. Your fans in Chile have passion, commitment, and unconditional love towards you. We support all your decisions and every step you take. We feel very proud to follow the artist and the person that you are, and it fills us with happiness to be able to celebrate your achievements, your birthdays, and your anniversaries. No matter the place or the day we always feel accompanied by you. Do you remember how many times you have visited Chile? Your visits to Chile have left indelible marks, in 2014 with SHINee, in 2018 with Music Bank, and in 2019 with SMOTWON. With this we are filled with emotion/pride and energy, so thank you for connecting so deeply with us through things like singing and speaking in Spanish putting a lot of effort and love into it. Your authenticity and dedication make you a unique artist. You fill our hearts with every song, every choreography, and every word you share (with us) because what you offer can't be compared. Chilean fans want to express our gratitude and love which extends over more than 4,000 km of our country; one of the largest in the world. Chile, it's far from Korea, on the other side of the world, but it's at that distance that feelings can be purer, stronger, and generous. Also, we are joined by Taemates and Shawols from Bolivia, Argentina, Peru, and more countries from South America, because this feeling crosses/surpasses all borders. This continent it's your house and Chile is your home. Thousands of Taemates and Shawols gathered from different parts of the country because you are the one who unites us. From this city, which rises between mountains, you can have the certainty in your heart that on this side of the world, there is a lot of passionate, understanding, and unconditional love for you. I love you, from Chile [...]. Thank you for being the inspiration that unites us. [...]" P.S. It's not the full translation since there were a lot of screams and I couldn't hear what the video said, but they were really beautiful words for Taemin.
