Dear Everyone, The last few days have been hell. Losing Kiyo has not been easy and I’m not ok. Kiyo gave me the best time of my life. The level of joy you brought into my word and any space he was able to exist in was incomparable. Kiyo was my lover, my best friend, and my truth. He truly saw me for who I was and I saw him for who he was. I didn’t just love him, I believed in him, prayed for his victory. I cared for him. Who would have thought that bringing back a piece of Tupperware would invite me into the world of the purest, kindest soul in the world. Kiyo would do anything for anyone. He was my hero and I was his. We both kept our capes on for each other whenever we needed to save the other person. I am grateful that I got to experience a love like his. I am grateful I got to spend some of the best moments of my life with him. I am grateful that even I grieve I still feel his warmth and care. Kiyo taught me be more patient and understanding and no matter how we came into this world and no matter how bad the world treated us, it doesn’t give us the right to exact that same unkindness to others. He loves animals, anime, a good meal, Steven Universe, a really inappropriate joke, and you never had to guess how he felt about you. As he was goofy he was charming. I still feel his hands interlocked into mine and he was fearless. He loved like no other man I have met in this world could. The first night we reconnected he gave my cat Patrick the middle name Bayard. He gave me first Christmas full of love and laughs. The first man in my life to actually pay attention to me and surprise me with gifts that he knew I would love and were true to who I was as a nerd. Anytime I could get it, I was with him. I remember I had asked Brandon Aiyuk in the offseason if he would be down to do a YouTube live interview and he said that it wasn’t a good time and he’d let me know if something worked out. Naturally I just thought he was good off doing the interview which is perfectly fine but right after the 49ers lost to Philly in the NFCCG, he reached out and dm’d me if I wanted to setup an interview. I thought that was so cool that he really reached back out to set up the interview with me like he said he would. We did the interview, he was great, laid back, we talked ball, the chat was absolutely electric. My favorite interview I’ve ever done. I know BA has done a lot of extremely questionable things as of late but I genuinely miss this dude who just chopped it up with me on stream for over an hour and was super generous with his time.

When his birthday finally came, I had prepared a surprise for him, organized everything, and planned a special moment. When I gave him the gift, he saw what it was and got kind of weird. Then he told me, ‘Oh, it’s just that I have a family commitment,’ or whatever. Something like that. But he had been saying for months that he wanted to go, so it didn’t make any sense. I said, ‘Okay, fine, nothing happened.’ Since I had the extra tickets, I told a friend, ‘This is your opportunity, come with me.’ She was going to the festival too, so we went together. We were about to leave when, guess who I ran into at the festival? Him. With someone else, all cuddled up, and I think they were holding hands. And the worst part? Do you know who it was? So, he was able to get EFCC officials to pick me and drive me from Lagos to Benin City in a Hilux and lock me up on a weekend. Fortunately, the soldier in charge of opening and locking the gate of my cell, said he knew me and that he was from Oguta. He asked me to use his phone and contact my people. That the only way I could get out, was Soyinka’s influence. I reached out to my elder brother and asked him to contact Professor Wole Soyinka and tell him where I was. Soyinka was away in Brazil but promised to call Magu. And he kept to his promise. Magu gave an order for me to be released. Here is the thing: the person that humbled me, lost money to EFCC. Because he gave them a lot of money to humble this Child of God. I came back to Lagos and went to thank Professor with that drink. You can hear me telling his PA I just got out of prison. The End.

It was a genuine honor for me to be able to speak a few months ago to our elder, our senior, our role model, Khaled Nabhan, who was brutally and unnecessarily murdered by the Apartheid Regime of Israel today. I was able to tell him that he has impacted tens of millions of people around the world, and that I myself have given shahada to people who told me they embraced Islam because of his video and the dignity and faith that he exuded. It was a genuine honor for me to be able to speak a few months ago to our elder, our senior, our role model, Khaled Nabhan, who was brutally and unnecessarily murdered by the Apartheid Regime of Israel today. I was able to tell him that he has impacted tens of millions of people around the world, and that I myself have given shahada to people who told me they embraced Islam because of his video and the dignity and faith that he exuded. His response was, 'Alhamdulillah who has used me to service His Deen.' Today, Allah reunited his soul with the 'soul of his soul', his granddaughter. May Allah deal with his murderers in this world before the next, and may we see the end of the Apartheid and genocide regime swiftly! PS.
