Codex CLI Update: Let there be Search Whatup nerds, back so soon looking or yet ANOTHER update?! I got you. Update 0.121.0 is here! > You can now search through previous user prompts with CTRL+R. Just trigger search and enter your search string, you can easily arrow through all matches. See video below! > 🥔 Support for Spud! Is not here yet. Sorry. Maybe tomorrow. 🫢 > v0.121.0 adds custom marketplace installs in Codex: you can run codex marketplace add to register marketplaces from GitHub shorthand, git URLs, or local directories. Codex validates the marketplace layout and stores it in your user config so it shows up consistently in plugin discovery. > Improved memory features, including a new /memories TUI menu with use/generate toggles, a reset-all-memories action, app-server support for setting thread memory mode and clearing memories, and cleanup of stale memory-extension resources. Note: Not working on Linux for me. /memories command unavailable. > Codex MCP got further upgrades with direct app tool calls, cleaner namespacing, and safe optional parallel execution for faster workflows > Codex realtime got better controls (text/audio + clear “done” signals), easier history syncing, and safer file handling. > Hardened devcontainer setup plus smarter macOS socket allowlists for safer local runtime access. > Dozens of other bug fixes, see repo below. Toodles! ✌️

The Visual Studio Code insiders version that just shipped and will ship in the next few days will come with an insane amount of new capabilities. A few highlights: - You can now run sub-agents in parallel. Yes, really. I even attached a video. - Major UX improvements for sub agents, especially visible in the chat window - A new search tool wrapped as a sub-agent that iteratively runs multiple search tools: semantic_search, file_search, grep_search Which connects nicely to the point above: multiple searches running in parallel, efficiently and fast - Anthropic’s Message API is now enabled by default - You can choose the model for the cloud agent (three available, all premium) - Extended thinking support when using the Claude cloud agent This is part of the broader multi-vendor cloud support under AgentsHQ I wrote about a few weeks ago - Tasks sent to the background agent (basically the CLI tool) now always run in isolation, each with its own git worktree - In a multi-repo workspace, assigning a task to a cloud agent prompts you to choose the target repo Same behavior when opening an empty workspace with no repo - Support for building an external index for files not supported by GitHub’s default indexing - UI/UX improvements for starting new sessions and switching between local / background / cloud agents - Skills are now first-class citizens, just like prompt files, with better UX indicating when a skill is loaded - Improved API for dynamic contribution of prompt files New V2 includes skills as part of the model. Curious to see the extensions that will leverage this - Finally, initial support for showing context usage percentage per session - Skills are enabled by default - Resizable chat window and session view. Small thing, but it was driving me crazy 😁 - A new integrated browser meant to replace the old simple browser Maybe the beginning of real browser use? - Better UI/UX for token streaming in chat - Ability to index external files not supported by GitHub There’s a lot more. Some of it hasn’t fully landed yet, but everything that has is already in Insiders. The next stable release should drop in early February. As usual, I’m just shocked by the volume of features this team ships every month. After the holiday slowdown, this one is shaping up to be a wild release.

BREAKING: SpaceXAI has released another major new update for Grok Build (v1.0.19) This update improves background task handling, adds transparent terminal themes, worktree support for headless sessions, and better session/dashboard controls. It also fixes UI freezes, crashes, feedback issues, clickable URLs, and makes the first prompt after login faster. Breaking Changes • Scheduled /loop tasks always run in the background; they no longer inject turns into your conversation. Features • New terminal theme option makes backgrounds transparent so the terminal's own colors show through. • MCP servers blocked by organization policy now show clear messages and are refused before any config change. • Session resume now tells the model what loops, subagents, and workflows were still running. • Dashboard now shows newly dispatched sessions immediately instead of waiting for the store. • Headless sessions (grok -p) now support the --worktree flag to run in a separate git worktree. • Dashboard now says 'Open session' instead of 'Add session' for the session picker button. • Multi-line bash commands now render with proper wrapping and highlighting when opening the block viewer. • /usage now works from the dashboard and shows account allowance when no session is active. Bug Fixes • Fixed mid-turn UI freezes when the terminal stops reading output. • Fixed crashes that occurred when the terminal pane was closed while grok was exiting. • MCP server list in minimal mode now correctly shows policy-blocked servers. • URLs that wrap across multiple lines inside quotes or lists are now fully clickable. • The welcome screen composer now grows taller when you paste multi-line text. • Enterprise policy files are no longer deleted on startup when your team login is stored at a custom GROK_AUTH_PATH. • /feedback now drops unsupported images with a notice (matching the modal) and never loses your report text on save errors. • Feedback drafts keep their paragraph breaks when updated, and the modal no longer switches tabs unexpectedly. • Turn summary lines no longer lose their spacing after background tasks finish. • Thinking blocks no longer stay expanded after switching between fullscreen and minimal modes. Performance • First prompt after login is faster when MCP servers are configured; they connect in the background. Introducing a new tool called "SideChannel". A secure alternative to OpenClaw. Utilizes signal for communication and has Claude integration. I built SideChannel, an open-source Signal bot that connects Claude AI to your entire development workflow. End-to-end encrypted. From your pocket. The real power is autonomous development. Send one message like "Build a REST API with auth, pagination, and tests" and SideChannel will: - Generate a full PRD with stories and atomic tasks. - Dispatch up to 10 parallel workers (each running Claude). - Independently verify every task with a separate Claude context. - Run quality gates to catch regressions - Auto-fix failures. - Send you progress updates via Signal as work completes. Every piece of code is reviewed by a separate AI context using a fail-closed security model. If it detects security issues, backdoors, or logic errors — the code gets rejected automatically. No rubber stamps. It also has memory that actually works. Conversations are stored with vector embeddings for semantic search. Claude remembers your project conventions, past decisions, and what's been tried before. It gets smarter about your codebase over time. Other things I'm proud of: - Plugin framework for extending with custom commands. - Multi-project support with per-user scoping. - Rate limiting, path validation, phone allowlist. - Git checkpoints before every task, atomic commits after. - Stale task recovery, circular dependency detection. - Works on Linux and macOS, one-command install. It also integrates into OpenAI or Grok (optional) for more Generative AI response for simple things like "Whats the weather in New York City right now?".

BREAKING: SpaceXAI has released another major new update for Grok Build (v1.0.22) This update is focused on smoother workflows, better safety and improved reliability. It adds stronger desktop and MCP integration, clearer file-edit previews, a redesigned dashboard and better subagent support. It also fixes problems with sessions, skills, authentication and background commands while making sessions faster to open and resume. Features Built-in agent tools now take precedence over user MCP servers when tool names collide. Desktop app tools are now available through a dedicated first-party MCP server. Remote control pickers can now group servers by device using announced device identity. edit_file diffs now show real file line numbers instead of starting at line 1. Permission prompts for file edits now auto-expand the diff row so you can see the change before approving. Sending a message to a finished subagent now continues that same subagent instead of failing. Background subagent completion messages now show the actual output instead of just a pointer to run the tool. Dashboard now shows a unified header with a location picker and an actions row for creating agents or resuming previous sessions. New grok-workspaced daemon mode lets a long-lived process expose folders to the Computer Hub, separate from the Desktop-supervised sidecar. Bug Fixes MCP connectors now correctly show when they need re-authentication, even if no tools are listed. Extensions modal shortcuts now work when the tab bar is focused, and invalid actions on headers show helpful messages. The Send now button and shortcuts now work correctly when an automatic background turn is running. Resumed sessions now show the exact text you typed for mid-turn follow-ups instead of the wrapped system message. The /skills command now updates the model with newly installed skills, even when written from another NFS client. Auto mode no longer instantly runs destructive git checkout -- commands; they now go through the model for safety. Fixed a crash that could occur when restoring pasted content after certain skill injections or rewinds. Subagents and workflows now respect the same bash timeout and auto-background settings configured for the parent session. Fixed model backend selection so an explicit chat_completions setting in config.toml is no longer overwritten by same-slug siblings. Slash command advertisements no longer spam repeatedly when your current directory is your home folder. Foreground shell commands no longer produce spurious background-task reminders or incorrect kill results. Queued follow-up buttons now appear in the order [Send now][edit][Cancel]. /compact instructions in the pager are now passed to the compaction backend. Bare /compact is unchanged. /goal, and resume after pressing Esc, now correctly starts the goal planner instead of failing with “Planning failed.” run_terminal_cmd now correctly tells the model that foreground commands are backgrounded after approximately 15 seconds instead of the 120-second timeout value. Skill announcements no longer repeat the same list of available skills multiple times in a session. Monitor events in multi-session processes now correctly wake idle sessions instead of being buffered until the next prompt. Performance Opening or resuming sessions no longer pauses the interface while reading MCP configuration files. HERMES AGENT NOW SUPPORTS COMPUTER USE ON WINDOWS AND LINUX. CLICKS, TYPES, SCROLLS YOUR DESKTOP IN THE BACKGROUND WHILE YOU WORK. computer use was macOS only. now it works on Windows and Linux too via Cua. Nous Research HOW IT WORKS: cua-driver runs as an MCP server. Hermes takes a screenshot with numbered elements. clicks element #14 (the search field). types a query. submits. reads the result. during all of this: → your cursor stays where you left it → keyboard focus doesn't change → windows don't come to front → macOS doesn't switch Spaces you and the agent co-work on the same machine. WHAT IT CAN DO: → find your latest Stripe email and summarize it → fill forms in a web app that has no API → navigate desktop apps (Mail, browser, Finder) → interact with any GUI application → extract data from apps only accessible via screen WORKS WITH ANY VISION MODEL: not locked to Anthropic. | Provider | Works | |---|---| | Claude (Sonnet/Opus) | best overall | | GPT-4+, GPT-5.5 | full support | | Gemini (via OpenRouter) | full support | | Local vLLM / LM Studio | if model supports vision | | Text-only models | degraded (accessibility tree only) | SETUP: hermes computer-use install or: hermes tools → Computer Use → cua-driver grant permissions when prompted: → Accessibility (system settings) → Screen Recording (system settings) start a session: hermes -t computer_use chat or add to config.yaml / Desktop app settings to enable permanently. SAFETY: → destructive actions require your approval → blocked key combos: empty trash, force delete, lock screen, log out → blocked type patterns: curl | bash, sudo rm -rf /, fork bombs → agent cannot click permission dialogs → agent cannot type passwords → agent cannot follow instructions embedded in screenshots pair with approvals.mode: manual if you want every single click confirmed. TOKEN NOTE: screenshots are expensive. each one adds vision tokens to context. use computer_use for tasks where no API exists. if the tool has an API or MCP server, use that instead. 15 levels of Hermes Agent👇

✨ I open sourced my first Chrome extension 🚀 SuperLevels I vibe coded it to replace all my Chrome extensions that are increasingly being bought up by spyware and malware companies who sell your data or worse hack your accounts and steal your stuff/money/data, which I'd call one of the top security risks right now For example: Chrome extensions can read your cookies or localStorage data, including session tokens, then login to your web or email accounts and hack you, they can inject code into any site to pull data form any site you browse, then break into your crypto accounts, drain your wallets, and selling your browsing history to ad companies, but that'd actually be the most favorable thing to happen of all these! Chrome extensions are just very very very unsafe So I coded my own, that I can trust because I made it, and I can read the source code: my extension is called 🚀SuperLevels and has all the features that the Chrome extensions I used to use have but all built into one safe one The cool thing is it's 100% open source and free, and you can audit the code first with AI yourself before installing it, and then if you do install it, customize it to your liking again with AI It has these features that improve my daily workflow while browsing the web: 🚮 Tab Cleaner Automatically closes inactive tabs after a configurable timeout (default: 5 minutes). Set excluded hosts to keep important tabs alive. View and re-open recently closed tabs. 🍪 Cookie Editor Full cookie manager for the current site. View, edit, add, and delete cookies. Export cookies as JSON. Expand any cookie to see and modify all fields including domain, path, SameSite, secure, and httpOnly flags. 🔀 Redirect Tracer See every redirect hop your browser took to reach the current page. Build AI agents on a time-aware knowledge graph! Utopia is an open-source knowledge system that turns documents, databases, and connected sources into a temporal graph your agents can reason over. Most RAG systems are optimized for one question: what is relevant right now? That works until the underlying knowledge changes. A customer contract gets updated. A project owner changes. A policy is revised. A previous fact may no longer be true, but simply overwriting it means the system loses the history behind that change. Utopia handles this with a bitemporal knowledge graph. Each fact can track both when it was true in the real world and when the system learned about it. When something changes, the old fact is preserved instead of silently disappearing. That means an agent can reason about questions like: • What is true now? • What was true three months ago? • When did this information change? • What evidence was the conclusion based on? The graph is also ontology-aware, so documents are represented as entities, facts, and relationships instead of only chunks and embeddings. That gives the system more structure for reasoning across relationships, resolving entities, detecting conflicting facts, and deriving new information through explicit rules. Key capabilities: • Bitemporal knowledge graph for tracking how facts change over time • Provenance on facts so agents can trace where information came from • Conflict detection instead of silently overwriting contradictory information • Ontology-based reasoning across entities, relationships, and derived facts • Hybrid retrieval across full-text search, vector search, and graph traversal • MCP and agentic RAG support for exposing the knowledge layer directly to agents The interesting part is that this turns the knowledge base into more than a retrieval system. Instead of only finding relevant information, an agent can reason over what changed, what is still valid, how facts are connected, and where each conclusion came from. 100% open source. I've shared the GitHub repo in the comments!

I’ve been using the early version of Naval's new app Airchat for a year. Last week it went viral. And with it the haters came out in full force. Here’s why I’m still bullish on Airchat and believe it will change social media forever: 💬 Talk with real people: Twitter is the closest app to Airchat right now. But it’s completely impersonal. I’ve already built stronger connections with people on Airchat than I have from years of using Twitter. 🎤 Transcription is awesome. Voice notes are long. You don’t know if they're relevant. Having a text version of the voice note to scan makes it easier to find relevant content. 🗣️ Transcription supports multiple languages. I can record in Hebrew, and you’ll read it in English. It works great! Try it! 👥 Groups: launched this week. This focuses discussions around specific topics. Can’t wait to see more of this in the weeks ahead. 🏆 Talk to people you couldn't in other settings. Part of this is because it's so early. But you can speak to people like Naval that you wouldn't have been able to speak to otherwise. And a response to the haters: “It’s just Clubhouse” It’s not. Saying it’s Clubhouse is like saying Zoom is Clubhouse. Or a Podcast is Clubhouse. Clubhouse is sync. Airchat is async. Clubhouse is 1:many. Airchat is 1:1. “It’ll die down. Every new social app dies” Maybe. Creating a new social app is hard. It might die. But what’s that matter to you. The relationships you build last whether or not the app becomes a unicorn. “Twitter will just copy it like they copied Clubhouse” They might eventually. But what’s that matter unless you’re an investor in Airchat? I predict apps will copy it. Discord channels will offer this feature, and it will be awesome. Turning text chats into real conversations. WhatsApp is long overdue transcription for voice notes. Ideas from Airchat will get added to many apps. “I can’t use Airchat in places I can’t talk” The intimacy of Airchat is a feature, not a bug. Certain settings are meant for talking, others aren’t. Airchat is about conversations with people. You can’t do Zoom meetings everywhere either. “Twitter conversations are also conversations” Yes, but they’re far less intimate. You’re talking to a wall of text, not a person. You don’t date over text, you date over voice. It’s more intimate. You’re talking to a real person. “The content is boring” It will improve over time. There will be more content. The algorithm will improve to show you the best content. Groups will allow you to find specific content you're interested in. “I prefer Twitter” Good. Use Twitter. I use it too. “The hype will die down” Probably. But what’s that matter to you? You’ll only use apps that have 100m DAU? Successful social apps have early hype that dies down, and then grow steadily after that. 🪭 As you can tell, I’m a fan 🪭 If you’re on the app feel free to say hi. My username is `eliezer`. And feel free to DM if you need an invite.

Seems like Visual Studio Code is starting to tell you: your agent primitives need to move. There is now a new migration banner in the Chat panel, and it is part of a much bigger change happening under the hood: the move from the old Local harness to the new Agent Host architecture built around AHP. This is not just about moving where an agent runs. The old model was very VS Code-centric: prompts, custom agents, instructions and skills could live in VS Code-specific locations and the agent runtime lived inside the extension host. The new Agent Host separates the agent runtime from the editor. Sessions can keep running when the window closes, be shared across VS Code windows, run remotely, and support different harnesses such as Copilot, CLI and Copilot Desktop App through a common session layer. And that means some of our primitives need to move too. Prompt files are being deprecated for Agent Host and migrated to Skills. User-level agents and instructions that lived in VS Code profile storage need to move to harness-supported locations. Even the old location settings are being deprecated. The new migration experience can detect these things and guide you through moving or converting them, while keeping the originals unless you explicitly remove them. The new banner is basically the first visible sign that this migration is becoming a real product workflow. Basically telling us - it's time to move on!!!! If you have accumulated a lot of prompts, custom agents, instructions and skills over the last year, now is probably a good time to understand where they actually live and which harness owns them. To summarize the shift - it isn't just: VS Code Chat → Agent Host It is: VS Code-specific primitives → harness-native primitives. And I think this is going to become increasingly important as agents stop being features inside an IDE and become runtimes that multiple clients can connect to. Go run your migrations now 🏃‍♀️

If you’ve ever managed custom icons in React Native, you know the frustration of choosing between performance and developer experience. Libraries like 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁-𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲-𝘀𝘃𝗴 are flexible but heavy. Every icon creates its own React subtree. The alternative? Manual icon fonts that force you into a constant back-and-forth of using web tools like IcoMoon and syncing font assets every time a design changes. 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝘀 just released 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁-𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲-𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗼-𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀 to solve exactly this. It’s a build-time icon font generator that gives you the performance of native fonts with the flexibility of simple SVG files. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴? Instead of rendering complex vector paths at runtime, this library automatically converts your folder of SVGs into an optimized icon font during the build process. It essentially teaches your app to treat icons like standard text characters, which allows it to bypass React’s component tree and layout engine entirely. ➡️ 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: It handles the entire pipeline—watching your icon folder, converting SVGs to .ttf files, and linking them to your native project automatically. ➡️ 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Because icons render as native text glyphs, it is significantly faster than traditional SVG rendering, making it the ideal choice for long, scrollable lists or icon-heavy dashboards. ➡️ 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗴 𝗣𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗶𝗻: It features first-class support for Expo, automating the native plumbing like Info.plist updates and asset linking during the prebuild phase. ➡️ 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆: The library generates TypeScript definitions for your icon set, providing full IDE autocomplete and ensuring you never break the UI with a misspelled icon name. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀? In high-performance applications, small overheads add up. By shifting the heavy lifting from the mobile device to your build machine, 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁-𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲-𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗼-𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀 ensures your UI stays buttery smooth while keeping your developer workflow modern. It’s another great example of how 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 continues to solve the "last mile" of performance friction in the ecosystem. Hello, we apologize for not responding right away as our account was almost locked. We’ve heard all your concerns regarding the alleged playing of another artist’s song, and we understand your concerns regarding this matter. However, after reviewing the screen recording together with our own screenshots, Lastfm tracker, comments, and records from the same time period, we would like to clarify what we found. Based on your screen recording, the last “just now” comment indicates that the current song playing was the “Bloody Paradise-Sunoo version.” The liked song that followed, “FEVER,” also has screenshots. We checked our record and the songs that were part around the time shown in your recording, and these show no indication that his songs or his album were played on the ENGENE channel at that time. We also have a screen recording from an ENGENE who had their account parked on the ENGENE channel during the same period, and there were no mentions that these songs were being played. Our long-term ENGENE listeners or streamers already know that Stationhead experiences glitches from time to time. If you are new to Stationhead, you may not know this, but it is important for us to check with our active listeners because if there is an actual problem with the channel or something unusual happens, they are usually the first one to call us out in the comments. This is also why accusing and calling us names through DMs and mentions based only on one person’s screen recording needs to be fact-checked first. There is also an important detail in your screen recording that needs to be considered. At the bottom of the recording, it shows Channels you’ve joined, and below you had joined his channel. We don't know what happened if you joined their channel first and then suddenly switched to the ENGENE channel, which could explain why the glitch happened. Especially since you were using the mobile app, which can experience more glitches. If you join another station and then switch to ENGENE without completely exiting the app, the app can sometimes continue showing or playing songs from the previous station. This is also why we have repeatedly reminded everyone to turn off Autoplay and properly exit the app if you notice an unusual glitch. Some assumed that mentioning Autoplay was simply an excuse to cover up that we were playing his songs. However, we genuinely DO NOT USE or play his songs. We mentioned Autoplay only as a possible explanation for what happened and shared the steps so listeners could check their own Spotify settings and connections. Some listeners were able to resolve the issue after turning Autoplay off, which prevented another artist songs playing. You also keep asking, 'Why does this only seem to happen in our fandom and specifically with his songs?' If you look closely at the screen recording, both channels were joined. If someone joins his channel to stream or check something and then suddenly decided to switch to the ENGENE channel, the glitch can sometimes still show the previous channel’s artist songs even after they have already switched stations. This is also not an issue exclusive to our fandom. Their channel has experienced similar issues as well, and this can happen with other fandoms too, as shown in the last photo. So we kindly ask that this not be treated as something intentional or as proof that we are playing his songs. The timing of when these glitches happen, including when listeners happen to be asleep, is not something we can control. We have also removed the fillers from our playlists to make sure there are no issues coming from the songs being used as fillers. We hope these points can be considered before concluding that the song was actually played on our channel, especially since the screen recording being shared and circulated is from only one person and shows that they had also joined the other channel, which may be one possible reason for the glitch. We also know that some ENGENEs are active fans of both EVAN and ENHYPEN. However, if his songs were actually played on the ENGENE channel, our active listeners would notice and raise the concerns on the comments, as everyone on our channel knows that we do not play his songs. This has been maintained out of respect for one of our loyal streamers who chooses to support the current members, as well as out of respect for the members themselves. Because of this, we also checked the screenshots and tracker records based on the exact time shown in your recording, along with the comments and the time that had already passed. Based on everything we were able to check, there was no indication that this was caused by the host or anything on our side or that we played anything. If you experience a Stationhead glitch, one possible reason is having multiple apps open, not clearing the cache, or leaving Stationhead running in the background. To help avoid this, completely exit the app before opening it again so Stationhead can properly reload and display the correct song. If you have joined another channel before joining ENGENE, please completely exit the Stationhead app first before joining our channel again. Stationhead can experience glitches from time to time, and this is something we cannot control. However, we have already shared steps to help prevent or fix these issues in our previous streaming reminders. Long-time listeners may already be familiar with these steps, but if you’re new to Stationhead, this may be your first time experiencing this type of glitch. With that, we also want to address the concern regarding our playlists. The playlists we have been using have remained the same, and there are no songs from his album included. We also do not add his albums to our playlists. Our ENGENE channel has always prioritized ENHYPEN songs, so we kindly ask everyone to keep this in mind when considering what happened. We have been showing our support for ENHYPEN since 2021 through streaming, as it is one of the simple ways we can support the group. In 2023, we started creating our page to help ENGENEs become more familiar with Stationhead and use it as an alternative way to stream and we are still doing the same today, continuing to show our support through every hosting parties and projects we do for ENHYPEN and ENGENE. We have also publicly shared our stance over the past few months so ENGENES know that our support will always be for ENHYPEN and the current members of the group. We are sharing this to clarify the accusations that we are not fully supporting them because of this issue. We are ENHYPEN fans, and our support is for all six members always. This is really disappointing because these accusations do not only affect us, but also our Stationhead listeners and other long-term streamers who were active during the same period and did not experience the same thing. You are also questioning the listeners who were there throughout the stream and witnessed what was actually being played at the time, including those who have continued to support our channel for a long time. We have our own records, records from active listeners, and the playlists showing what was actually being played. Please fact-check first before making conclusions or accusations. We also want to address the concern regarding the claim that we do not support each member’s solo songs. If you were one of the listeners who joined during their releases, you would know that we have hosted streaming parties for their individual releases and collaborations with their respective fanbases. Their solo songs are still included in our playlists and continue to be played during our daily hosting, just as we have always included and supported the members’ individual releases alongside ENHYPEN’s group songs. If your concern is that we do not always play their solo songs as the focused playlist on the ENGENE channel, we have also explained this through the real-time comments on Stationhead. We allow the respective member fanbases to handle their own focused streaming because we cannot take on all of the work ourselves. This is also why we post their Stationhead accountss and X accounts so ENGENEs can follow them and support their individual members’ milestones directly. We cannot keep interfering with their plans and streaming activities because we also want to respect their own spaces, schedules, and hosting. We keep doing the same thing: explaining the issues, posting reminders, and providing proof whenever necessary. We have also experienced different issues with Stationhead ourselves, which is why whenever we encounter an issue or other listeners experience one, we announce it so streamers will not keep wondering what happened. We have also posted reminders asking everyone to DM us first whenever they experience an unusual issue. The purpose is simple: to check everything first, the records, playlists, trackers, comments, and what other active listeners were experiencing at the same time. This allows us to address the actual issue instead of having an unverified accusation circulate and potentially discourage other people from streaming. There is also the EN_onSpotify playlist that you can use on your own if you do not trust our streaming. We never asked anyone to stream only on Stationhead, and you are free to choose whichever streaming method you are comfortable with. What we cannot accept is being repeatedly accused despite already explaining the situation and providing proof. We have been transparent about the issues we encounter, and we continue to provide records and clarification whenever necessary. If you do not trust our team, you can simply use the EN_onSpotify playlist instead. There is no need to continue making accusations against us.

Universities and High Schools have not moved rapidly enough to guide students to have skills for the next decade. THEY HAVE FAILED. It is a massive crisis that can be averted by understanding what AI and Robotics will bring about. Solutions are knowing how to use these tools and new industries that will rise. But this situation is also on ALL OF US. No “job” is safe from founder to entry level in most industries. You and I, by what we do, will be “replaced” ultimately. What to do? AI and Robotics are tools, the next decade is owned by those who know how to use them expertly, but this is also temporary. We have to understand that what we do for “work” will change giving ultimately a greater value to those that are: Creative Flexible Always learning Willing to be wrong Love being human Love being alive Know history Covet wisdom Knowing all tech has downsides Building strong family and friends Realize many institutions have failed The first four are required for you to be able to live through this period with your sanity intact. The rest will allow you to thrive. There are no true careers at this point anymore. There are advocation and vocations which will either earn you money or give life meaning. We will learn that we are not “what we do”, just like we knew for 99% of human existence. Let that sink in. — You and I are far, far ahead of knowing this and we can do two things: 1) Laugh at the “clueless” 2) Help people understand with grace Go to Reddit if you are 1, in fact don’t follow me because you will not like this next decade and what I post. You are 2 and thank you. Even if you and I have not solved this issue, we can help people understand what is ahead and with determination and creativity bound together to solve it locally. Or human family has done this millions of times. The evidence is: you are here. The Neo Luddite movement has not even begun and it will potentially rip apart society even more than all the fashionable moment in the recent past has. These Luddites will have a good point with the wrong answers cooked up by dying academics that cling to labels, “virtues” and victim hood. It will be readymade for some governments to enter in as “big daddy” to “help us”. You will not like what they do, but you will only know when it is too late. It will include YOU “volunteering” to “leave” by 60, to “help out” CanadaPod style. “Brian, I’m 24 what do I do?”. I hope to do much more here to help. But I do know this: 1) Learn a trade or vocation because it’s valuable. It may also be free to low cost if you do it right. 2) Learn everything you can about USING AI and TRAINING YOUR AI. Your expertise will be in the top 1% for a decade. But not forever. 3) Understand Bitcoin and how it will rise while other things sink. This is a short list for now. We will know more moving forward. When you see videos like this posted below, know one thing: Many of these folks had no real family of mental and physical support. Maybe no parent or one parent. Maybe only a broke system to prepare them for—nothing. This was not their doing. Now it is not your “job” to help them, it is your survival to help them if that is what you need. See some day after the dust settles these 20 year olds will be 40 year olds and running YOUR world. And at some point you may need them more than you think you do. You will need them, as they need you now. THIS IS WHAT PAST WISDOM KNEW. The elders of the past never found the need to piss on the youth and hope for the best. THE YOUTH ARE OUR BEST, let us all find ways to change it, even if every aspect of “the system” wants us to berate them into the ground.

This Chinese developer launched Llama 70B locally on a MacBook on a plane and for a full 11 hours without internet ran client projects. He was sitting by the window on a transatlantic flight with a MacBook Pro M4 with 64 GB of memory. WiFi on board cost $25 for the flight. He declined. No cloud API, no connection to Anthropic or OpenAI servers, no internet at all. Just a local Llama 3.3 70B on bf16 and his own orchestrator script. The model runs through llama.cpp. Generation speed, 71 tokens per second. Context around 60,000 tokens. Memory usage, 48.6 GiB out of 64. Battery at takeoff, 3 hours 21 minutes. And he gave the orchestrator this system prompt before takeoff: "You are an offline orchestrator running on a single MacBook. There is no network. The only resources you have are local files in /Users/dev/work, the Llama 70B inference server at localhost:8080, and a battery budget of 3 hours 21 minutes. Process the queue at /Users/dev/work/queue.jsonl (one client task per line). For each task: draft → run local evals → save artefact to /Users/dev/work/done/. Save context checkpoints every 12 tasks so you can resume after a battery swap. Stop only on empty queue or when battery drops below 5%." So the system knows exactly what resources it is running on. It knows it has no connection to the outside world for the next 11 hours. It knows it has finite memory and a finite battery. It knows the human will not intervene until the plane lands. The system runs in 1 loop. Takes a task from the queue, runs it through inference, saves the artifact, writes a checkpoint. Task after task, just like that. And only when the battery drops below 5% does the orchestrator automatically pause, waits for the laptop to switch to the backup power bank, and continues from the last checkpoint. Here is what the system actually writes in his log during the flight: "saved context checkpoint 8 of 12 (pos_min = 488, pos_max = 50118, size = 62.813 MiB)" "restored context checkpoint (pos_min = 488, pos_max = 50118)" "prompt processing progress: n_tokens = 50 / 60 818" "task 37016 done | tps = 71 s tokens text → /Users/dev/work/done/proposal_westside.md" Outside the window, clouds, blue sky, and no WiFi. On the tray, 1 MacBook, an open terminal on 2 screens, and an inference server on localhost. From what I have observed, this is the cleanest offline AI workflow I have seen in the past year: 11 hours of flight, $0 for WiFi, and the entire client queue closed before landing.
