I wish to reiterate that Disaster Relief Expertise is at the table and this Government remains willing to engage and consult with the elected officials of all parties to get the best possible results. Water Filtration systems are being installed, field hospitals being built and donated, shelters being built, evacuations being done along a list of other efforts. The private sector has been working with the Govt and the NGOs have not only been very helpful but also commended the response of the GoJ publicly for our response mechanism within 6 days. Building back will require something that unfortunately many Jamaicans are foreign to and that is the concept of unity. Trying to set the Govt and the opposition at each other for engagement is NOT the way. In closing, I want to share this with ALL Jamaicans. Our anthem speaks of Unity above all. It doesn’t mention the word “I” not once. We cannot do it alone. Our - Us - We. Let’s unite and rebuild stronger. Rebuild Together. 🇯🇲

Feels great to be able to put the Ferrari on the podium and to get my first 2nd place with the team in the main race.” ❤️ “So proud of the team for working so hard. I finally have the engineering team that I’ve been working towards. I think our car is great, the guys did a fantastic job over the winder to get the car where it is. I think I understand it a lot better, I’m much more comfortable with it.” “Whilst we’re not exactly where we wanna be, to get a result like this… This is awesome and a big thanks to the team.”

A campaign is a team. And this team, which has been working so hard to get Kamala and Tim elected, is special. Eric is Kamala’s traveling photographer. He’s been on the road for much of the last year, away from his wife and his young daughter Ellora, and he made this beautiful video to tell that story. It’s the same story so many of the staff on a campaign could tell. To all of you: Kamala, Tim, Gwen, and I could not be more grateful.

It was last year in April while we were working for the relief & rehabilitation at #Khargone & #Sendhwa that I received this unexpected call. It was Asaduddin Owaisi sb who called to enquire about the situation there. Over almost a months time, we talked on many occasions. I briefed him about the relief works we were doing there & he shared the works by AIMIM team. His team worked with many survivors of violence & communal demolition at Khargone & Sendhwa. In the #Haldwani demolition that was later stayed by the court, we also talked about the legal approach and other mitigations. In past 10 days, while working with the #Nuh relief works, he has called me many a times and not just a call, his team is working with some relief works. Every time I talk to him, I feel the same pain in his voice as if he is there with the survivors and seen things through his eyes. It is beyond any doubt that he is one of the finest & bravest political leader of our times. One may criticise him or disagree with him but it is impossible to be like Asaduddin Owaisi sb.

Today, we are continuing once again at the Beitbridge border, distributing food to our brothers and sisters returning home. Some of them have spent hours without food and are in need of support. Exciting update: Most of our buses from South Africa are arriving today at the Mwanza Border, where they will be welcomed by the great leadership of President Prof. Peter Mutharika’s initiative team. This dedicated team is working day and night to assist and support these returning citizens upon their arrival. We also have more buses leaving South Africa and making their way home. We continue to stand with our brothers and sisters during this transition. #bushiri

We continue to work actively to put all of our agreements with partners on new arms production into action, including co-production and joint maintenance capabilities. The goal is to strengthen Ukraine to the maximum and add to our defense every month. This week has proved the effectiveness of the air defense systems provided by partners. We are working to bolster our air defense and have already made agreements. This topic is being discussed at every meeting with partners. There will be more systems and more protection. We are also planning more important foreign contacts until the end of the year. Despite the fact that the holiday season reduces political activity in many countries, our whole foreign policy team is working around the clock. I thank everyone in our state who keeps up with such a fast pace and who never tires of protecting, working, and helping.
