We are suffering in Nigeria due to how over-religious we are. How is this prayer meant to be heard in heaven even if. God or jesus in his era according to the bible didn't for once pray like this. The speaking in tongues of these people are just gibberish. How would you tell me you speak in tongues the minute you start praying. How?? One guy came to us one day to preach to us in university, after preaching he said we should pray and immediately he started praying he started speaking in tongues I just opened my eyes and was looking at him, the next thing I heard was "speak in tongues my brother " . As how na for hot afternoon??

I have told us earlier that the simplest solution is to do away with religion, but we can't possibly do away with something of our nature and remain whole. We are religious being. Like it or not. But as we have seen, the problem is not Religion, the problem is religious people. Even those who are quick to promote African Traditional Religions (ATR) as the best thing that has happened to humanity since the coming of Coldstone Ice Cream should not forget that the killing of twins emanated from there. One who holds on to reasoning alone and throws away faith risks being an agnostic. A mature Christian, and indeed, a mature human, understands the place of reasoning in dealing with issues where faith is not needed, and the place of faith in believing revealed truth where reasoning cannot attain.
