Remember how hyped we all were when this came out?

Yeah those were the days when I was younger,😌 I was so hype when I first saw this Godzilla 2014 Teaser Trailer. I always like how he blends in the shadows so well.

@DandridgeS23458 It’s masterfully made

Modern MV fans would say this teaser is too dark, you can't see anything, and that everything's too slow

Shame really

Back when Godzilla had aura. Now he just looks like a clown.

I saw the 2014 teaser trailer and I thought it was another dumb giant man eating lizard movie, but the name never left my mind so I did a bit of research and the rest is history

Based

Nope, because I wasn't a Godzilla fan back then actually. My first hype wave was with KOTM.

Not a bad place to start

Too bad it didn’t live up to the hype But that one scene where the fins charge up the tail * chef’s kiss *

My 11 year old self screamed with joy.

If you didn't enjoy the 2014 Godzilla movie I consider you a tourist of the Monsterverse franchise

It was really good. But, I think 'Shin Godzilla' is more terrifying. An unthinking force of Nature that keeps evolving, and becoming progressively more powerful.

G2014, skull island and KOTM. Monarch….man they peaked with king of the monsters and fell off ever since then. Everything is now an “ancient rivalry”

Woulda been cool if the movie had this vibe.

lives were changed

True

yep then the movie came out and godzilla had a total screentime of like 15min in the entire movie. lets not even mention the weird sequels

Still gives me chills.

It’s sad that this was never a bonus feature

I agree it would’ve been dope

I remember scrambling trying to find it before it was taken down. I even downloaded that crazy radiation tracker app and didn’t even know you had to be at San Diego for it to work lol.

lol I just missed out on the app

That first movie had that Cloverfield viral marketing. Now that throw everything at us upfront lol.

Godzilla 2014’s aura will never be matched, was borderline a horror movie

i 100% believe that that godzilla movie was great it fell victim to not enough godzilla BUT it treated everything in it as it should the ones now are more mcu trash then actual godzilla movies i was so insanely dissapointed in KotM it was HORRIBLY shot / cut

The movie highly under-delivered for me but thankfully the sequels have been great

Ole of the Best Films in 4K Ultra HD

Remember when they killed @BryanCranston the only good character ruining the 2nd half. I’m just glad all the subsequent films were good.

I knew we were so back

First time I saw this, it was in theaters and I fucking FLIPPED!

And then fucking Adam Wingard turned it into power rangers

Still the best monsterverse movie imo. Shame they didn’t keep the serious character tones.

My two favorite Godzilla moments are the lighting flash as he approaches the female Muto and when he goes feral against Kong when he’s crawling on all fours as both have this feeling of an unnatural ancient fear.

bold to assume most MV fans were alive when this dropped

It was great! The Minus One came along and blew everything else away.

I remember how DISAPPOINTED I was that I’ll never make a sequel to #Godzilla’98!

2014 Godzilla is a great movie ! Too bad they ruined the franchise by turning Godzilla and Kong into action stars instead of terrifying monsters.

This really makes me face my mortality…

Yup! This was my first Godzilla movie!

It was the start of something beautiful

@Maskeliito

then it started something PHENOMENAL!!!!!
