CM #SuvenduAdhikari suspends three Bengal cadre IPS officers- Veenit Goyal, Indira Mukherjee & Abhishek Gupta for mishandling of the RG Kar Rape & Murder case & offering bribe to victim’s family, All three IPS officers will remain suspended until pending enquiry.

These corrupt and immoral officers should not only be sacked, but they must also stand trial and be prosecuted. Sacking them is the easiest way to forgive their sins. These people take an oath to work for the public, yet they only serve politicians and those in power.

IPS officer with a decorated badge desecrated duty. From protector of law to protector of TMC’s criminals - suspension was the only promotion left. A woman officer choosing party over people now stripped of both dignity & duty. Upon enquiry her postings be permanently blacklisted

Good decision. All such incompetent police officials must be suspended, transferred to punishment posting, or if possible terminated. This will bring back the trust of the common people.

So according to him, the CBI is Nalla ? And how exactly did Subhendu Adhikari conclude the investigation was “mishandled” before any proper scrutiny or judicial conclusion? This entire drama looks more like political theatre. Two days later, all the suspended IPS officers will quietly walk free from the allegations. IPS officers are not local BJP gundas who can simply be thrown out overnight.
They are bureaucrats appointed through the Union Public Service Commission under the Indian Police Service framework, not personal appointees of any Chief Minister.

Don't blame her she was only doing her job under pressure ...its so easy to blame the police but the pressure these people are under ...catch hold of their bosses.Ofcourse there are upright officers but it's rare ..each one fears his or his families life.
