Remember Scotland’s Deposit Return Scheme? It was apparently controversial because the SNP & Greens wanted to include glass. It was their fault DRS was delayed. So why isn’t the Welsh DRS controversial? Why isn’t Labour being blamed for this delay?

Funny how a deposit return scheme is described as controversial but the assisted dying bill is not described as controversial? Unbelievable.

Instead of trying to introduce a scheme unworkable in many areas in Scotland & potentially removing a very small percentage of discarded “litter”, why not spend that money enabling all LA schemes to use same colour bins & all collect glass. Many LAs already do.
