What I’m hearing is that @AOC would have killed Tuvix. Monster.

And let us not forget the woman who inspired the girls of a previous generation:

#Janeway was definitely a brilliant captain and worthy of note, but if I remember correctly in #StarTrek IV: The Journey Home, one of the ships disabled by the alien probe was captained by a woman with a distinctly Jamaican accent, so Janeway might not have been the first.

Fun fact: 59 countries have had women leaders, dating back to the 1960s. So it’s been a reality for a long time … just not in the USA. #HarrisWalz2024

🇺🇸 ELON: SCI-FI INSPIRED ME TO TURN FICTION INTO REALITY "As a kid, I read a lot of science fiction, sci-fi, fantasy books, and comic books. I always liked technology. I didn't expect to be where I am today. It seems incredibly implausible. I was inspired by reading books about the future, about science fiction. I want to make science fiction not fiction forever." Elon Musk on making science fiction real. "So that it's not always science fiction, but one day the science fiction turns to science fact." Most people leave space in the theater. Elon treats it as a handoff — fiction becomes hardware when the ships are real and the people are aboard. • Science fiction → science fact • Big spaceships with people to the Moon and other planets • Then beyond our star system Not a forever-Earth ceiling. Not a movie set. A destination. "And we want to have epic futuristic spaceships with lots of people in them traveling to places we've never been to before."

🚨 AOC calling the ICE shooting an “assassination” is dangerous, irresponsible rhetoric, and it flies in the face of what the available evidence shows. Federal officials, including DHS leadership, say the agent shot in self-defense after the vehicle posed a threat. Get a grip, AOC.
