According to reports masked men stormed his home in the town of Zintan, some 136km southwest of the Libyan capital, Tripoli. Saif al-Islam who was considered number two by his late father Gaddafi was arrested trying to flee Libya and sent to prison when opposition forces took over power in 2011. He was later released and has been living in Libya without holding any government position.
