Here’s a very unpopular opinion: It’s nearly impossible for a woman with children to work 40+ hours a week, maintain a home, cook, care for her kids (and possibly her spouse), and keep herself healthy. That’s why so many women feel like they’re going crazy.

Nova Scotia treats their construction workers like second class citizens. You need to work over 110 hours in two weeks in order to be considered for overtime pay. ie. YOU CAN WORK 80 HOURS IN ONE WEEK & still not be eligible for overtime. But if you work for the government, anything more than 48 hours in any week, gets you overtime pay. Rules for thee, not for me. INSANE.
