Remember the Ann Richards' Texas?

I voted for Ann. I also sold to her the AquaNet she'd buy at the 7-11 where I worked. She'd come in herself, while governor, for it. "Hi Ya'll!!" as she'd come thru the door. That era feels like a fevered dream. Snuffed out by the likes of Abbutt/KennyP/DannyP. I hate it here.

She, Molly Ivins, and Barbara Jordan would be horrified to see what Texas has become in their absence.

I proudly voted for Ann, and was heartbroken when she passed. Since her term, we’ve been on a downhill slide to the authoritarianism we now see in Abbott. I just hope her ghost gives Abbott some hair raising nightmares.

Of course it's a man with an opinion that yells out.

One of the best interviews ever imho. She also talks about Roe v Wade and attempts to overturn it being the downfall of the Republican party in this interview.

Lord I miss her style. Ann didn't mince words. She would have torn Trump to pieces. Texas has turned into something I never would have thought it would. Texas use to stand for an individual's rights now Texas is about controlling it's citizen's life.

That's the last time Texas was great. 😢

Then something bad happened in Texas from which it has yet to recover.

She was cool but they'd hate her now.
