🚨 HMRC took £90.4 BILLION more from taxpayers last year. That comes directly from the National Audit Office. In just one year, HMRC collected 10.3% more tax - an extra £90.4 billion! Thanks in part to frozen tax thresholds, 1.1 million more people were dragged into paying Income Tax. So HMRC clearly has no problem taking more money from you. What it does have, is a problem passing audit. For the 24th year in a row, auditors were unable to give HMRC a completely clean audit because they found significant levels of fraud and error. And now Andy Burnham is reportedly considering another £38 billion of tax rises. How about before taking another penny from taxpayers… …they stop the fraud and error and prove they can properly manage the record amounts we’re already paying?

The fraud never ends Minnesota Rep Elliott Engen exposes the auditor chosen to look into the fraud cases by DHS cant legally be chosen because a conflict of interest The person at DHS overlooking it worked for the company assigned to oversee it and made a big retirement deposit “So about 40 days ago, Tim Walz comes out and he says that he's gonna get super, super serious about fraud. And then he decides that he's gonna choose an independent auditor of his choosing to go and look at 14 different programs within DHS that had been riddled with fraud. DHS just so happened to contract with Optum Services to go after the fraud within those 14 programs. The issue is Optum Services is actually overseen and owned by United Health Group, which is also not allowed to oversee Minnesota Medicaid dollars because they have engaged in conflicts of interest and absolutely absurd billing practices in the past. So there's layers upon layers of fraud. And when I submitted a data request to DHS to try to figure out why it is that they were contracting with an entity that they statutorily can't, here's what we found. It turns out that George McNulty, who works for DHS, has also worked for, you guessed it, Optum and United Health Group. He worked there from 2018 to 2021. And after leaving and then joining the state government, maybe he saw it as advantageous to shove money, your money, directly to his retirement fund. 🚨 DWP has failed its audit for the 38th year in a row. That’s according to the National Audit Office’s latest report into the Department’s finances. The auditors were unable to give DWP a clean audit because they found material levels of fraud and error in benefit expenditure. Yes, you read that correctly, they found significant levels of fraud. This means the department responsible for paying hundreds of billions of pounds in benefits hasn’t passed an audit since 1988. Remember, Britain now spends more on benefits than it raises through income tax. Yet the Government plans to increase benefits spending by another £70 billion over the next few years. Surely the first priority should be fixing the fraud and error and passing an audit… …before pouring tens of billions more into it. That shouldn’t be a controversial opinion.

Needless to say DHS received a reality check today. Hearing the commissioner say her staff is only in the office 50% of the time was… surprising, to say the least. When taxpayer dollars are footing the bill, Minnesotans deserve accountability and results! I appreciated the opportunity to raise a constituent’s concern directly and hope DHS keeps that in mind as they move through this “culture transition.”‼️#mnfraud #dhs

Lyman: They’re saying there were problems with the election. Phillip: That is not true. Kemp did not say that. He pointed out that there were elections that occurred after Donald Trump lost. And those elections were also free and fair, and not to mention that other Republicans who were on the very same ballot as Donald Trump did better than he did.
