Remember this video? Buhari era. Nigerians were practically begging for fuel to be available, even if they had to pay more for it. Tinubu came, bit the bullet, removed the subsidy, and Nigerians got something they had been demanding for years: consistent fuel availability. Now the same people are... show more

@FriendsOfBAT Nigerians just want to live for free. How the economy is working doesn't concern them

@FriendsOfBAT You get o

@SaintBhammy @FriendsOfBAT DSDP swaps began in 2016 after earlier systems failed and became NNPC’s main petrol supply route for years. No queues today isn’t better access. Many of us, myself included, simply can’t afford fuel. I haven’t bought petrol in 3 years — same for millions of Nigerians. Criminals

@daylearny @FriendsOfBAT You don't need fuel is why you haven't bought fuel. Is it easy for everyone? No. But Nigerians are hard to please

@FriendsOfBAT They still insulted Buhari

@FriendsOfBAT We forget things easily

@FriendsOfBAT Human being in general are not easy to satisfy. We just want freebies everywhere 😔

@Mobola_A_Star @FriendsOfBAT Nigerians ke? With their short memories.

@FriendsOfBAT Everyone has forgotten. Some are even boasting that they prefer the "Queuing Era"

@FriendsOfBAT Not even only Buhari era, even when oil was booming during Jonathan era fuel still scarce 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️

@FriendsOfBAT You can never please us

@FriendsOfBAT Never

@FriendsOfBAT Problem is, many here were too young to be directly involved in sourcing for fuel that time. I remember the pain, the time wasted, the fights, the long queues, the prayer that fuel doesn't finish before you get to the pump.

@FriendsOfBAT Available at the real price ooo

@FriendsOfBAT We forget quickly in this country

@FriendsOfBAT Nigeria have short memory

@FriendsOfBAT Athiefku @atiku Oponu @BolajiADC Parrot @seunokin Remember this, Nigerians are difficult people !!!

@FriendsOfBAT @ruffydfire don dey para as usual this morning on The Morning Show😄😄😄....that guy gets issues i swear. He's never happy about anything Nigeria. Ire oo 🚶🏽♂️😅😅😅😅😅😅

@FriendsOfBAT "Tired of Manna, the people wept and longed for the free fish, cucumber, and other foods they had in Egypt". "We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt". Our situation is no different from the experiences of the children of Israel in the wilderness, as highlighted above.

@FriendsOfBAT So for fuel to be available it has to be unaffordable for almost every Nigerian except the politicians Are you saying it was subsidy that was causing scarcity? Wasn’t it Dangote’s refinery that became the game changer for availability? What a dumb submission by you

@FriendsOfBAT May ur life an ur generations life be like current Nigeria problems under tinubu, may all ur children become akara agbado and kulikuli sellers, amen.

@FriendsOfBAT The Dangote Refinery began operations in 2024 and started producing petrol in September 2024. By May 2026, Nigeria’s petroleum regulator said Dangote was supplying about 87.5% of the country’s petrol supply, averaging about 41.5 million litres per day.

@FriendsOfBAT Was it TINUBU that initiated the DANGOTE refinery? Are the FG refineries working to compliment DANGOTE’s? Nigerians consume lesser pms than they did initially due to the high cost. Do you know lesser private cars ply the roads compared to previous years?

If you juxtaposed these two scenarios they have the same effect but different occurrences! It's either you have the money but no fuel, or you have fuel but no money. Even Tinubu's government is the worse because the fuel is not really enough, and the price is extremely high! Tinubu's government manipulates the economy internally to deceive the gullible Nigerians that there is no money in the economy where as, they are living largely! Tinubu's government is "rob Peter to pay Paul" kind of situation! However, your video shows how delusional and morally decadence you are — how would you expect the citizens not to complain in anyway when things are difficult for them, and the government is giving them excuses? This can only happen in a developing country and not in a developed country! The citizens have the rights to complain when the government has failed them because they deserve accountability, responsibility abd transparency from the government! So, don't you ever try to shut anyone up! The government should do the jobs very well and sacrifice if need be!

@FriendsOfBAT It was the previous delapidation and mismanagement by the previous govt before Buhari that led to this..And Buhari managed to control and which is now being fully controlled by Tinubu..

@FriendsOfBAT So instead of depending almost entirely on bringing finished petrol into Nigeria by ship, a huge portion can now be produced inside Nigeria.. if Dangote refinery had been completed during Buhari tenure I believe life will be much better… so Tinubu has done nothing

No reason for the price to be this high. But it is. 🇳🇬 Dangote imports most of his crude. NNPC's own crude is tied up in oil-backed loans 400,000 barrels per day goes to debt repayment. Dangote gets only 5 cargoes a month locally. It needs 13 to 15. So the refinery is local. The crude isn't. And when crude is over $100 a barrel and the naira is weak, you pay for it. No strategic reserve. No buffer. Just the full force of the market hitting you at the pump. The price is high because the system is designed to keep it high. The question isn't why petrol is expensive. It's who benefits from it staying that way.

@FriendsOfBAT It is a common factor with humans but especially Nigerians. They are so quick to forget the past. It is such a shame

@FriendsOfBAT Tunubu till 2031 If you want to cry Cry!!!!!

@FriendsOfBAT Availability of fuel is the development that Tinubu can give?

@FriendsOfBAT Dangote was responsible for fuel supply. Without Dangote, Nigerians would still be queuing for fuel.

@FriendsOfBAT Bro at this point, if it's to queue for 5hrs to get fuel at 165 naira. Nigerians will do it happily.

@FriendsOfBAT Fuel should be for cars alone. Not for generators. You can fix electricity and it will reduce the queue at the filling stations. Your understanding of economics is like your useless mother selling sharwama when her calling is ewedu seller. Its not aligning

@FriendsOfBAT Let's try to make our conversations honest. Fuel was not permanently scarce. There were occasions/events of fuel scarcity. And this largely went away NOT becuase subsidy was removed but because production became local, which was already the plan. #FactsONLY

@FriendsOfBAT @Laoluayo This video is for you.

@FriendsOfBAT Do you know how DEMONIC ALLY WICKED you must be as a person TO JUSTIFY ONE EVIL USING ANOTHER EVIL. First BOTH EVILS happened under APC that's a fact. Secondly There was NO JUSTIFICATION FOR FUEL SCARCITY THEN AS THERE IS NONE FOR THE HIGH COST now. CORRUPTION IN BOTH CASES.

@FriendsOfBAT When did fuel become so scarce under Buhari... he removed subsidy too... he met at 97 and left at 185

@FriendsOfBAT People of very short memories.

@FriendsOfBAT May Ogun kee you tonight for this lie. Because you're picking crumbs under Tinubu's table, you want to justify ₦1500 for a litre of fuel in a wicked country where minimum wage is 70k? May Ogun kpai you.

@FriendsOfBAT One of the 4k hungerfluencers 😹😹😹
