not everyone in the fandom notices this and taehyun himself probably doesn't either but beomgyu holds a special place in his heart. even in games where winning should matter, taehyun ends up rooting for beomgyu. when everyone's talking and no one is listening to beomgyu, taehyun always notices, always becomes his ear. he's constantly encouraging him, always cheering him on. remember the bingsu taehyun made just for beomgyu? or when beomgyu broke his leg and taehyun was the one who suggested signing and writing words on his crutches. taehyun may not realize it but beomgyu has a space in his heart that no one else could ever occupy 🥹

THIS IS SO FUNNY 😭😭 the uncles and yoojun were at a mini arcade in the jjimjilbang, and beomgyu won a puppy plushie from the claw machine, but it got stuck and wouldn’t fall. as soon as taehyun got it down, he immediately ran over to yoojun all excited to give him his new plushie… only for yoojun to give it back 😭😭😭

taehyun’s first impression of beomgyu: it was during the time when trainees were constantly being added and dropped, and then beomgyu came in. taehyun said it had been a while since bighit had scouted such a handsome trainee 😭 🐱 beomgyu hyung was sitting there fixing his hair and stuff, and i actually came in late. when i saw him sitting there, i was like “woah what’s this…this guy’s handsome…who is he?” 🐱 then he started speaking in a super thick dialect that i couldn’t even understand. 🐱 since he was very sociable from the start, i thought “he seems like a really fun person.” 🐱 then i was like “he’s definitely going to debut” and he really did 🧸💬 taehyun, i was really surprised when i first saw you because your eyes, nose, and mouth were so big, like a snow filter
