remember when Lost casually dropped one of TV's greatest plot twists in the middle of season 1

Those cringe long stares though before commercial break

I've never seen another show receive the same scrutiny as Lost. For example, Severance's story and mysteries have been nonsensical for 2 seasons now, but I never hear anyone complain "They're making it up as they go!" We owe much of modern tv to Lost.

Best TV show ever

That guy looks like a weird version of Tom Cruise. Could be cousins or something.

Lost would have been up there with Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones if it had started a few years later. You really couldn't tell where the story was going at all, but it always felt like they were dropping clues all the time. Turns out the writers just didn't plan ahead much.

Lost has the best twists in television

Only caught one episode and it was about Africa or something and I just could not keep up with it. I don’t know why everyone was so into lost.

Season 1 of Lost is the best standalone season of television that has ever been made, and I will die on that hill. Better than any individual season of BB, Sopranos, Wire, BCS, Walking Dead, Mad Men, anything.

Top 3 shows all time . Not even a question

always felt lost watching this show

Such an epic show!

Such a cool idea for a show but they destroyed it by making it up as they went instead of having a structured story that makes sense.

Jar Jar Abrahms can shove his mistery box bullshit up his ass. Lost stole 6 years of my life because nothing was solvednor explained. It‘s the Last Jedi of series.

LOST (2004-2010) original ending was completely different: • Jack would face the Man in Black inside a volcano. • The eruption would symbolize the darkness being unleashed, a showdown of good vs. evil • ABC scrapped the idea due to budget concern

Yes it was poorly written and it is well known now that the writers kept changing shit out of spite because the fans kept guessing where the plot was going. I specifically remember people saying it was purgatory on day 1 and the writers lied and said no it wasn't. F* them.

Was the person who wasn't on the manifest named Kevin McCallister by any chance?

What’s the twist?

Crazy how after this, we come to know that Ethan was actually a pretty nice guy just trying to save Claire's life. No need to be so creepy about it though (or hanging Charlie, for that matter).

Michael Giacchino elevated the whole thing to 11!

The biggest plot twist is how does a person stay obese in an island with barely no food?

I forget…had Sawyer been outed as James at this point? 🤔

And remember when the show failed to explain half of these twists before the show ended…

I never watched this show can somebody ruin it for me? I don’t wanna have to go search on TikTok for this specific episode and what happen before and after thank you so much in advance 🫶🏾

Remember when they fu**ed up the ending and nobody ever wants to see it again and recommending friends to not even start watching the show? 🤷♂️

One of my favorite shows of all time!

And the guy in question was none Other than Tom Cruise’s cousin.

Not a plot twist, ethan was introduced out of nowhere like this same episode or an episode earlier

It's nice to finally look back at someone who was considered comically obese at the time, and they are actually huge still

Lost is one of the worst shows I've ever tried to watch. The first time I only made it through a few episodes. People kept telling me to give it another chance. I eventually struggled through the first season before I couldn't take it anymore. Absolute trash!

Lost was SHIT

Season 1 Lost was Lost at its peak.

That fat guy never did lose any weight on the island

Peak TV 🤷🏻♂️
