Hot take, but I’ve always felt Vice City is easily the worst GTA. I’ve never fully understood the hype around it. Don’t get me wrong the atmosphere is amazing, the 80s vibe is iconic, and the soundtrack is one of the best in the series. Tommy and Ken are great characters too. But once past that, the game itself doesn’t hold up as well for me. The map feels small and empty, especially compared to San Andreas, and even GTA 3 felt bigger in some ways. Driving around and exploring isn’t that fun, which is a huge part of what makes GTA games enjoyable. The missions are where it really loses me. Many feel repetitive or straight-up frustrating, especially early on. The RC helicopter mission inside the building is a perfect example more annoying than fun. It often feels like the game is just throwing obstacles at you instead of offering natural progression. To me, it’s always felt more like a quick follow-up to GTA 3 than a fully evolved entry, leaning heavily on style over substance. It has its moments, but compared to the other GTA games, it just doesn’t hit the same.

The Incredible Machine was created by Kevin Ryan and published by Sierra in 1993. Not what anyone would have expected from Sierra at the time, since they were so heavily invested (and dominant) in the adventure game genre. The goal could be as simple as "pop the balloon" or "put the ball in the basket" - but there were countless ways to do it. Rarely has a game made you think so much, often outside the box, yet never feel like a chore. It was pure fun and joy to figure out, and the multiple solutions made it even better, and also increasing replay value. Some games from the 80s and 90s really tested your brain. Not just mindless shooting or running, but connecting the dots, understanding abstract principles, and learning while playing. The Oregon Trail was one, as was Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?, and this one certainly belongs in that group too. A rare gem, loved it.

Asked Egor Demin about adjusting to physicality and ball pressure of NBA defenders and what he needs to do to be able to handle it: "It’s a big transition. Same as it was when I just got to college and started playing conference games. The Providence game. Everybody saw this game. I can’t say it was the best experience I’ve ever had. But it was a really useful game because those games prepared me for the most important part of the season in March Madness where I was playing point guard full time. The games against Houston, the games against Iowa State, the games against Arizona, Baylor, where they’re really trying to break you. Especially me when they see me with the high dribbling, right? They’re really trying to, the coach is like, Yo! pressure! Pressure! For me, it’s just time and adjustment. I need to get used to that. Spend more time in practices handling the ball thanks to our guys who are not being selfish by not playing great defense against me. Tyson, Q, TJ, Dre, all these guys were guarding me in the practices, and it’s pretty hard. So, for me having these experiences, not just in the games, but in practice is huge.”

the reason why i really like dbz, enough even to make it my pfp, it may come off as a shallow one to some but there is a substance to this series that is missed by many midcurves the story is ok, good enough for a saturday cartoon. i like vegetas character and dialogue, action is alright for the time, everyone is just a pretty alright funny cast member and whatnot really the reason i like that show so much is because it conveys, and is defined by a sort of male emotion i have never ever seen properly displayed anywhere else there are times when i get so beat down by life, when i am so humiliated by the world i wish i could explode everything around me and vaporize everyone and everything into thin air this is how it feels. this is how my body feels. i want to destroy everything that exists where else is this really portrayed so well? this WRATH many mistakenly call this show ethnic-coded, because it was one of the few shows on TV with punching and fighintg that the 13%ers of the 90s and y2k had to watch growing up, but this core feeling is pure concentrated aryan vril many white men of the modern day are so spiritually castrated they may correlate any sort of display of power with the impetuous hominids that populate urban districts, but make no mistake: every thinking feeling soulful man has a bit of this rage within him, and far too much media treats it as a character flaw, let alone a trait which would define a protagonist "spend most of your life ruled by another...watch your race dwindle to a handful...and then, tell me what has more meaning than your own strength." few.
