Remember when Mainoo was running England’s midfield under Southgate? ESPN summed it up perfectly: “The Earth is covered by 30% water, the rest is covered by Kobbie Mainoo.” Tuchel naturally leans towards midfielders like Rice and Anderson because they bring relentless energy, intensity and box-to-box running, which suits many...

🛑🗣️📢 | “Where Was Your Zidane?” — Jamie Carragher Challenges Scholes Over His Previous Kobbie Mainoo Praises. Jamie Carragher: 🗣️| “Scholesy, you told us Kobbie Mainoo was the closest thing to Zinedine Zidane. So explain this to me—if he’s that special, how couldn’t he force his way into this England team and save us from that embarrassment?” Paul Scholes: 🗣️| “That’s a poor argument, Jamie. Whether Mainoo starts or not is the manager’s decision, not a measure of his ability. A coach picks players based on the system and tactics he wants to play. Sometimes top players miss out because they don’t fit the game plan—not because they lack quality.” 🗣️ “Kobbie Mainoo is still one of England’s most gifted young midfielders. He’s calm under pressure, comfortable receiving the ball in tight spaces, carries it through midfield, and makes intelligent decisions. More importantly, he’s already shown he’s a big-game player. The quality is there—the coach just has to be informed enough to know when those attributes are exactly what’s needed.” 🗣️| “And Jamie, while we’re talking about opinions, you once said Casemiro should leave football before football leaves him. The season before, he was one of the Premier League’s best midfielders, and he was also an important player for Brazil at the World Cup. Football changes quickly. Form, tactics, and coaching decisions matter. They don’t suddenly erase a player’s quality.” 🔴What’s your take on Paul’s response?💬⤵️

Dimitar Berbatov on Kobbie Mainoo being left on the bench again for England’s FIFA World Cup semi-final against Argentina. 🗣️ “I honestly cannot understand this anymore. It’s becoming embarrassing. If you’re not prepared to trust Kobbie Mainoo with even one single minute at a World Cup, then why did you bring him in the first place? What exactly was the point? He’s spent the entire tournament watching football instead of playing it, and that’s a complete waste of one of England’s brightest young talents.” “Managers always talk about believing in young players, but words mean absolutely nothing when your actions say the opposite. Mainoo has trained every day, stayed professional, waited patiently and still hasn’t been rewarded with a single minute. That’s incredibly harsh and, in my opinion, completely disrespectful to a player who has done nothing wrong.” “You don’t build confidence by making a player sit on the bench for an entire World Cup. You build confidence by trusting him when the team needs energy, composure and fresh ideas. Instead, England have treated one of their most gifted midfielders like he doesn’t even exist.” “If the coaching staff never believed he was capable of helping this team, then they should have left him at home and given his place to someone else. At least that player would have understood the situation. Taking Mainoo to the World Cup just to let him collect splinters on the bench is impossible to defend.” “And if England don’t reach the final, don’t be surprised when people start questioning every decision. Because leaving a midfielder with Kobbie Mainoo’s talent without a single appearance throughout the entire tournament is the kind of decision that follows a manager for years. It’s difficult to explain, impossible to justify and incredibly unfair on the player.”

Every single word is true “Welcome to America where we work to live and live to work - Where we spend hundreds of thousands on a home that we barely get to step foot in because the hours we work to pay for it keeps us away from it - Where we buy a car just to drive it to a job that barely pays enough to keep the gas tank full - Where our healthcare system will bankrupt you faster than the illness can kill you - Where getting sick is the business model and the cure is priced like a luxury - Where the food is fake, the water's tainted and the air we breathe is up for sale - Where the richest 1% own more than the bottom half combined and they still tell us to work harder - Where we chase the American dream only to find out it was designed to stay out of reach and every time we get close to the finish line they just inch it a little further back - Where school doesn't teach you how to live just how to obey, comply and clock in - Where education comes with a lifetime of debt and the diploma is nothing more than a receipt for money that you ain't never going to see again - Where we pay taxes to keep the lights on in government buildings we ain't never even allowed to enter - Where your rights are written in pencil when erased when it's inconvenient - Where justice depends on your income and the law bends to the highest bidder - Where your labor is valued but your life is disposable - Where mental health is a crisis but therapy is a luxury that most can't even afford - Where they sell you fast fashion, fast food and the fast entertainment to keep you distracted from the slow theft of your soul and your spirit - Where the news is scripted, the truth is filtered and history is rewritten to protect the guilty - Where the people who run this country don't live like the people who keep it running - Where survival is success Where we've been trained to call this living but in reality we barely breathing. Welcome to America.”

WHY Sandro Tonali Could Be The Engine Of Spurs’ Midfield… Sandro Tonali isn’t the traditional holding midfielder many Tottenham fans might expect. And that’s exactly why he’d be such an interesting fit for Roberto De Zerbi. Tonali thrives in high-intensity football. He’s constantly scanning, covering huge distances and looking to play forward rather than simply recycle possession. His athleticism and ability to break lines make him the type of midfielder who can inject tempo into every phase of the game. That’s why he feels less like a conventional number six and more like the engine of the midfield. Alongside someone like Mateus Fernandes, Spurs would have two technically gifted midfielders capable of progressing the ball through pressure and accelerating attacks from deep. There is a trade-off, though. Neither Tonali nor Fernandes is a specialist defensive anchor. Tonali can struggle aerially and isn’t at his best defending large spaces in one-versus-one situations, meaning Spurs would still need the right structure around them. If De Zerbi gets that balance right, the midfield could become one of the most exciting in the Premier League. And while a £100m fee sounds enormous, the Telstar Transfer Index shows it would still sit just below Gazza’s move when adjusted for football inflation. Spurs fans, would Tonali transform your midfield? 👀⚪ ⬇️ Full Video Below 📹 Samson Kalnińş Brough

the reason why i really like dbz, enough even to make it my pfp, it may come off as a shallow one to some but there is a substance to this series that is missed by many midcurves the story is ok, good enough for a saturday cartoon. i like vegetas character and dialogue, action is alright for the time, everyone is just a pretty alright funny cast member and whatnot really the reason i like that show so much is because it conveys, and is defined by a sort of male emotion i have never ever seen properly displayed anywhere else there are times when i get so beat down by life, when i am so humiliated by the world i wish i could explode everything around me and vaporize everyone and everything into thin air this is how it feels. this is how my body feels. i want to destroy everything that exists where else is this really portrayed so well? this WRATH many mistakenly call this show ethnic-coded, because it was one of the few shows on TV with punching and fighintg that the 13%ers of the 90s and y2k had to watch growing up, but this core feeling is pure concentrated aryan vril many white men of the modern day are so spiritually castrated they may correlate any sort of display of power with the impetuous hominids that populate urban districts, but make no mistake: every thinking feeling soulful man has a bit of this rage within him, and far too much media treats it as a character flaw, let alone a trait which would define a protagonist "spend most of your life ruled by another...watch your race dwindle to a handful...and then, tell me what has more meaning than your own strength." few.

🚨Steve Holland on Manchester United’s summer midfield plans with Carlos Baleba, Mateus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali and Elliot Anderson all under consideration: 🗣️ “Manchester United’s priority is to build a midfield that can control games, win duels and still have the technical quality to play progressive football. The ideal midfielder for Manchester United today is someone who can defend large spaces, recover possession, progress the ball quickly and contribute in both phases of play. That’s why different profiles are being discussed. Sandro Tonali is attractive because he is already proven at the highest level. He brings leadership, intensity, tactical intelligence and experience in big matches. Carlos Baleba offers physical dominance, athleticism and defensive security. He has the profile to become one of the best ball-winning midfielders in Europe. Elliot Anderson is admired because of his energy, versatility and ability to carry the ball through midfield. He understands the pace of the Premier League and has shown he can influence games consistently. Mateus Fernandes is viewed differently. The club sees him as a player with huge potential, technical quality and room to develop, but also understands that he is not yet as proven as some of the other names being considered. The reason Tonali, Anderson and Baleba are receiving so much attention is because they fit the immediate need for reliability and physical presence in midfield. Manchester United want players who can compete now while also helping build the foundation for the future. The club likes Fernandes, but when comparing profiles, Tonali, Anderson and Baleba are seen as players who can impact the team immediately while still having their best years ahead of them.” {TNT Sports }
