remember when namjoon reached for jungkook's hand and somehow it turned into a full OT7 hand-holding chain "seven grown men who cannot go without holding each other's hands" will never stop being accurate 😭

There is a kind of grief no one teaches you how to carry.. the grief of choosing yourself quietly, without resentment, without spectacle. That night, when the lanterns were lit, Zeudi wasn’t losing anything. She was letting go, with a smile that almost trembled but never collapsed, with a dignity that didn’t ask to be seen. In a room full of familiar faces, she watched the soft, slow betrayal of attention shift elsewhere. Not with anger, not with cruelty.. just the quiet, almost accidental abandonment that stings more because it carries no explanation. The hands that once reached for her were reaching for others. The laughter that once circled her had found different walls to echo against. And still, she remained kind. She did not force her way into anyone’s ritual. She did not demand a place in memories that had already begun to close without her. When the moment came, she lit her own lantern. She made her own wish. She sent it into the sky without waiting for someone else to steady her hand. It was something private, something unrepeatable: a soft, internal decision to belong to herself before belonging to anyone else. And today, when she turned the pages of a book meant to celebrate those days and found that night again, I hope she didn’t measure what was missing. I hope she didn’t count the hands that let go too soon. I hope she remembered herself. The way she stood without bitterness. The way she smiled when she had every excuse to harden. She didn’t ask for permission to stay standing. She didn’t need an audience to recognize what was already hers. Some departures tear you apart. Others hand you back to yourself. And maybe, without even knowing it, that night was the last time she ever had to feel alone. #zeudiners

Today we remember WWII Medal of Honor recipient Staff Sgt. Day G. Turner, buried at Luxembourg American Cemetery. 🇺🇸🇱🇺 His Medal of Honor citation reads: "Turner commanded a nine-man squad with the mission of holding a critical flank position. When overwhelming numbers of the enemy attacked under cover of withering artillery, mortar, and rocket fire, he withdrew his squad into a nearby house, determined to defend it to the last man. The enemy attacked again and again and were repulsed with heavy losses. Supported by direct tank fire, they finally gained entrance, but the intrepid sergeant refused to surrender although five of his men were wounded and one was killed. He boldly flung a can of flaming oil at the first wave of attackers, dispersing them, and fought doggedly from room to room, closing with the enemy in fierce hand-to-hand encounters. He hurled hand grenade for hand grenade, bayoneted two fanatical Germans who rushed a doorway he was defending, and fought on with the enemy's weapons when his own ammunition was expended. The savage fight raged for four hours, and finally, when only three men of the defending squad were left unwounded, the enemy surrendered. Twenty-five prisoners were taken, 11 enemy dead and a great number of wounded were counted. Turner's valiant stand will live on as a constant inspiration to his comrades. His heroic, inspiring leadership, his determination, and courageous devotion to duty exemplify the highest traditions of the military service." We remember his service and sacrifice.

I walked into the children's home with one name written on my heart. Ava. I had seen her photo weeks before — her soft smile, her almond-shaped eyes, the quiet strength in them. I told myself I was ready. Ready to be her mother. Ready to build a life together. But when they brought her into the room, she wasn't alone. She was holding someone's hand. A little boy stood beside her — same age, same shy eyes, fingers laced tightly through hers like he was anchoring himself to the only safe place he knew. "This is Lucas," the staff member said gently. "They've been inseparable since the day they met. If we try to separate them, they both fall apart." I watched them for only a few minutes, but it was enough. Lucas never let go. And Ava never asked him to. When she laughed, he looked at her first. When he shifted nervously, she squeezed his hand. It wasn't just friendship. It was safety. It was belonging. It was love in its purest, childlike form. And in that moment, I knew something deep and undeniable: If I took Ava and left Lucas behind, I wouldn't just be adopting one child - I would be breaking two hearts. So l asked the question that changed all of our lives. "What would it take to bring them home together?" The caseworker looked surprised. Then hopeful. Then emotional. The paperwork doubled. The responsibility doubled. The love? It multiplied in ways I can't even describe. On the drive home, they sat side by side in the backseat, still holding hands. Not afraid. Not anxious. Just calm. Like they knew. I walked in planning to adopt one child. I walked out with two souls who refused to be separated — and a family I didn't know I was meant to have. Sometimes you go looking for one miracle. And God places two in your hands. 💕

Been wandering around Dallas for 2 years without a car, basically living on savings. I’ve made like not even 20,000 in over 2 years, but actually I’ve never felt better about myself in my life. (Don’t tell my Mom she’ll worry) But I don’t care. I’m lost in the forest and I don’t even know what’s going to happen. My lease is up in 3 months and I don’t even have proof of income to move anywhere. I’m trusting everything will happen exactly how it’s supposed to Been doing the yoga @yogazama consistently and I’m telling you I’m living proof it works, I quite literally feel like a snake shedding its skin. Come check it out here plus all the classes are great. My last download I want to share is that I remember why we are here. Look at a sunset, a leaf, a creek, a body of water. Touch the nature. Look into the clouds. That experience, That’s the REAL YOU. I remember being in my 1st grade class seeing pictures of people around the world holding hands in peace, love, unity and respect. Then you grow up and wonder what the hell is happening in this world? People are stressed from working 24/7 plus all the other mistreatment. I’ve made my mistakes too we all have and will continue to make mistakes. BUT I remember that we are supposed to give more than we receive. I remember that we are supposed to lend a helping hand to all. I remember that we are supposed to love each other thru our differences, I know that we are all ONE. I remember that we are here to bring HEAVEN to EARTH. The Courage, the Creativity, the Power, the Love, the Truth, the Wisdom, and the LIGHT in me Honors and Bows down to the Courage, the Creativity, the Power, the Love, the Truth, the Wisdom, and the Light in each of you. NAMASTE 🙏🐉🕉️🕉️ #Dfw #dfwyoga #dallasyoga
