No kamala wasn't a better choice and I think an overwhelming majority of democrats would probably agree or at least a good chunk. There were so many flaws in her campaign and not to mention she was nominated super late she didn't run her champaign very well which not only resulted in her defeat but she did worse then Hillary by losing the popular vote which is rare for democrat candidates.
