Remember when someone asked Michael‘s sound engineer why Michael always sang his own background vocals and he said "cause he couldn’t find a better singer." Exactly.

this brings me back to him recording the background vocals for Liberian girl, his voice was a literal INSTRUMENT ‼️

so heavenly

CAUSE YEAH.

Um, MJ had a 4-octave voice! He could sing tenor AND baritone! People see the dancing, the lights, the showmanship. But MJ could SANG. So, yes. He couldn't find a better singer. SMH...

True vocal mastery. He could sing anything

Amen! Damn, he is giving me goosebumps! Falsetto, low voice, high voice and then all the tracks harmonize! Whoa!

He knows he’s HIM 👑

his own competition being himself WBK

He was so right & I love his background vocals so much ❤️

As he should no one layering talks like this anymore.

And it would always sound exactly how he wanted it to - it's always said what a perfectionist he was! Hell he even used his own sisters when he wanted female vocals (PYT) coz he knew they'd do exactly what & how he wanted it! And that's why all his music is timeless masterpieces

ONE THOUSAND PERCENT ACCURATE ❗️🎤🔥🔥🔥🎬

i know that’s right!

They better act like they know!!!

Yall don’t love this song like me

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😊

MJ's hooks in song is so good! Just listen to - Somebody's watching me- Rockwell

nowadays I think the majority of artists sing their own background vocals. like I can’t think of a single Taylor, Sabrina or Chappell song where they’re not doing their own background vocals

He learned from the Master Marvin Gaye

He was wonderful

Joe Jackson and Berry Gordy.

It always made me mad that they didn't include this song on the LP, just the CD. CDs were still pretty new at that time & they were trying to increase sales. I didn't care, I didn't want a CD player & was almost 2 decades until I got one. (& I STILL play records!)

🔥

EXACTLYY i love his voice sm it’s the best male voice ever

Yeahhh

Ouuuu he devoured 🤌🏾

I don't blame him
