Remember when talking about games used to be about the GAMEPLAY

Complains about people talking about the DEI and nonsense in the game and only wants to talk gameplay. Ignores the developers doing 98% of their marketing with strictly DEI and Transgender nonsense and barely ever showing gameplay. You know why you didn't know about the gameplay? Its because they didn't show much of it at all. They focused on the same stuff you are complaining other people focus on. Its okay if they focus on it though yeah? If you think a 3 skill system with no killable companions is "fire" then that's on you. I can stun lock enemies dam near non stop and never get hit. Its a joke.

story and the characters in a story driven RPG game are more important or = as gameplay. A bad story and character can ruined a good gameplay game. As gameplay in RPG can get repetitive so I need interesting story to keep me entertained. That's why you don't here bout gameplay

I can care less if the game has LGBTQ stuff, Baldur's Gate 3 was fantastic and had a lot of that. My problem is I seen a lot of the dialogue and a good chunk of it is just very out of place. I get gameplay is a priority but story isn't far behind. It's immersion breaking.

because a single player RPG has more important factors than just gameplay. - the characters are annoying - dialogue is bad - writing is bad and they expect you to play 50+ hours in the world

Gameplay is the best the series has ever been, the first time it's literally ever been fun. The other games were a slog made only worth it by the story, now, I not only want to experience the story, but I want to PLAY THE GAME!!! It's so good, fun, and rewarding.

I don’t know where you been looking and not seeing gameplay but TLDR: typical action combat similar to mass effect 2. What you play in the first hours is basically how you play in the last with more skills. If you want an evolving combat this not the game for you.

The gameplay is pretty good. I'm playing a mage and it feels good. I also love that you can combine companion attacks and do some pretty awesome stuff.
